There is a comment by someone who attends SCC under his "rock and roll" video. She said Lucas is "auditing" the English class he's taking. He will not be getting any type of grade or credit for the class.

We knew his classes were so low level they weren't credit. Auditing you don't even get a "pass/fail" like remedials. This is something done for schools to bolster class sizes, and give mostly retirees shit to do for fun.

Honestly, first and foremost, with out saying Lucas isn't ready to be a father to a fucking house plant let alone a real human . If you read this essay he really doesn't say why or how he is other than he wants it and bad science. Flat earth for example is like this, you have to surrender logic and reason to accept it, and then the way the mind ticks it's fast talkers.

Lucas is open about him being lonely, I don't blame him I honestly think he is. This is a god awful reason or way to start a family though. When you pick a mate and choose to have a family it's because you have an excess of love in your life. It's not easy to explain but you have to be loving someone so much you want to love someone more and share that love. Wanting someone to love you I can respect, get a dog. Dogs like pack traits so they love the shit out of you, even if youre a big dumb oaf. Not that I'd trust Lucas with a dog, because his poor hygine, awful money issues and general laziness but pets are a better treatment for what he's dealing with.
