People who attempt to justify zoophilia tend to try to make moral equivalency arguments. (See the Adam Johnston/YMS thread). IE: Well we kill/eat animals isn't fucking them not as bad? Without even considering that the context of an action does matter especially when judging if it should be considered illegal or immoral.i wonder if bestiality people are the same way, but i don't have access to any research papers through jstor or anything anymore. we know that both dogfuckers and pedos lack empathy for their victim and enjoy being in control, i just don't think people care as much about looking at dogfucker brains
Not to mention zoophiles tend to exclusively target animals like dogs and horses which humans in the west oppose eating.
There's a surprising amount of research done into the psychology of zoophiles. Largely since there are some countries that don't criminalize it. (iirc Iceland is one country where it's completely legal). Like how zoophiles apparently view animals with the same measure of empathy as they would objects. It's why psychologists see zoophiles as individuals who view animals as just fleshlights who want something that they can stick their dick into that can't say no and want to feel power over.
