More on topic, I don't think a lot of people coming into the LGBT community and calling themselves "asexual" while still being very much sexual and giving the people who were already in the LGBT community a hard time (like PK does with gay men) is coming out of nowhere. She wants to be part of LGBT but those pesky LGBT people are getting in the way, so she has to queer herself up. And asexuality is trending.

This, I can agree with, more or less. At the very least I find it shitty to put down one group of the LGBT community by creating a huge, stupid pity party. And I know some asexual people are that self-entitled; it'd be stupid to think otherwise.
Just like how Glip puts down cis gay men. They're shitty for doing it (and more. Much, much more), and they clearly don't give a shit about the community they're trying to represent in their comics. Some years ago he shared about being raped when he was an infant, and how it fucked him up now that he's an adult. The whole hypersexuality, even for a long while he... Coped(?) by acting like a dog, where he'd eat from a bowl and all that. I don't remember that part too well, and I am not about to spread lies.
Anyway, he's an illustrator, and as any other illustrator with childhood issues and rape survivor, he has mechanisms that most of us don't understand; One of them is drawing underaged My Little Pony characters porn. He commented about drawing it to cope and what not, and mentioned him posting it on e621, but never linked to his profile, or the illustrations itself, so there wouldn't be any dumb pubert "misclicking" and being exposed to that kind of devious kink.
Someone called him out on it. Not because of drawing child porn, the callout was because he made the posts public, and with that, an actual pedophile could run into these drawings, and feel like "Oh, pedophilia is actually normal, I don't need to hide myself anymore, since there's lots of people here that think like me".
He took the drawings off, understanding that that type of drawings is best you keep them to yourself, or a really small group of people that share similar coping mechanism.
Point is, he messed up, he apologized, took action, and did what he could to correct himself. He owned up to his mistakes.
Mind you he crosses the line often, but he tries to clean up his shit. He tries to grow as a person.
Something PK could learn to do. But their narcissism gets in the way.

I think, coping via art is a valid method. That is the reason vent art even exists, as cruddy or unecessarly brutal as some of it might be out there.
Just, in all my time, I have not seen anyone drawing vent art and getting off to it at the same time. That is what makes PKs coping art so horrible in the long run (aside from it being y'know.. CP which standalone is already pretty awful)

Important disclaimer: I am not a psychologist, so I am saying this out of talks I've had with other people, some that have indeed studied psychology, and as such, my words are not to be taken as 100% true.
The thing about "reliving" the traumatic event, is that this time, they have control over what happens.
The rape survivor writes/illustrates the same traumatic event, but with a different outcome; Which could be this time, the dominant one is the kid, and has everything under control. Or he overpowers the rapist and manages to escape.
Or a more fucked up approach, the rapist ends up showing actual care and tenderness for the victim.
I think it was mentioned earlier that the best way to handle this would be going to therapy and talk about your issues with an expert, trained to help you overcome the past event.

Somewhere in the thread someone mentioned that PK did go to see a therapist once, and they told her her relationship with Eevee and Marl wasn't helping her and that she should separate from them for awhile. PK didn't want to do that and believed the therapist was biased towards her because she was a woman and the therapist was a man.
I don't remember exactly where in the thread it was mentioned (I think it might've originated on Tumblr), so take it with a grain of salt.

Highly degenerate and sexually charged vent art has always been pretty suspect, in my opinion.
Like there's so many styles of venting in the artistic medium and yet you (not you you but you get the idea) actively choose to depict yourself as an agressor inflicting the same hurt that had been done to you in your past.
And that's all before we get to the act of keeping the art private or displaying it.
good point. in art involving her fursonas at all she doesn't generally draw herself as the victim. instead her fursona is abusing someone else, like Rhodes.
and why upload that, ever? it wasn't posted with the framing of trying to reach out to others for support and kinship. there was no mention of it being coping art at the time of upload, it was just "yes so hot this is what i'm into"
the "coping" thing came up after the fact. either she convinced herself of it, is lying, or realized that coping was what it was all about all along, but regardless, it doesn't change the fact that she chose to upload pedophilic art before she ever framed it as a "coping mechanism".
I don't know why her art is being labelled as "coping". If she did have the intention of using it to cope, she would have mentioned it or created symbolism behind the art but it's all on a porn site and make for titillation rather than provoking thought.
People have already pointed out how PK has depicted her as the perpetrator in CP art which makes "coping" less believable and the scarier part is it makes her look like she wants to commit CSA and have the power over others who has less because they rely on adults to take care of them.
The more PK talks, the less she makes herself look like any sort of victim. Even if she was abused by Marl, doing all of this (CSA enabling, zoophilia and corrupting minors with porn, etc) makes her look just as evil as Marl, I don't pity her in the slightest thanks to her and Eevee's horrible actions.
Side note: I keep thinking about an artist (Ria Pratt) who has made artwork of real events that has happened to her and it actually depicts child rape and abuse. Unlike PK's art, it makes you feel horrified for the poor children that has been abused by the adults, especially since it's about real events and real people. When PK says her art is coping, I say BULLSHIT!!
There's a lot of really telling language in how Glip frames this shit, both in the Rhodes story that was posted earlier (god I wanted to vomit) and the recent tweet storms.
Notice how PK the character justifies raping Rhodes (he's attractive, he's Seen Some Shit, it's a reward, she just feels like it) and how PK explains what's happening to the completely naive child (saying don't tell anyone because HE can get in trouble, that's the only reason she considers it bad... because OTHER people would THINK it's bad, not because it's harmful in any way.)
In the recent posts, drawn CP is framed as "a coping device" which might "upset" other CSA survivors but.. that's it. Apparently anyone who is pissed just has their feelings hurt or some shit, it's actually totally fine and good to leave your CP lying all over the fucking place where kids will find it because "they're going to look at porn anyway!" Have their defenders even READ that shit?
