EDIT: Does anyone know anything about the difficulty in this game? None of this appears to be much of a challenge.

Probably normal or easy, why would Phil ever give himself the chance to look bad. Or give himself a challenge.

Also is it just me or has he started with these "meeeh" laughs that just seem like nervous fillers.

Damn, those guys have actually given phil hundreds of dollars? That's a lot of money (or time if watching ads) to give someone that hates you.

How do they all keep getting their subs gifted to them? Are they all really good friends with true dsp fans who renew them every month (I think newface has a 6 month badge). Why do these true dsp fans keep gifting subs to people they know just use them as protection to get away with trolling and being negative in chat when they know phil wants his chat to be pahsitive and meme free? Why are they "friends" with people they know "harass" their favorite twitch personality? I know how stupid these questions are since it's impossible to make sense of the things people who hang out in dsp's chat do but it still seems weird to me.

Honestly, most of the time it’s random really. Mark loves gifting subs, or it’s just a random dsp fan gifting subs out. I honestly don’t know how they do it. Just luck, I guess

After the introduction of "Community Gift Subscriptions”, there's an element of randomness. Anyone following has the potential to get one. On top of that, I'd seen Kozatof mention in TXT's chat that he'd been gifted a 6-Month. So I'm guessing that the Old-Guard has used that as a “system of protection”.

As I understand The Divine Herd: Though the world Phil orchestrates around him is “Black-and-White”, “All-or-Nothing”, “Us and Them”, the particles around him are “on a spectrum” of conformity. According to @BSV , Phil is more “background noise” for the Old-Guard community that's formed in his chat, being True and Honest fans to varying degrees. Within the Old-Guard, there is a smaller community, those that made up of the genuinely trollish “Bully Campaigners”. The particles of the two networks intermingle more or less freely.

He hates the multiplayer team-based stuff for the simple fact, as stated, that he sucks donkey dick at it.

I caught enough of Phil's anti-Modern-Shooters rant last night to learn that, according to him, he loved Unreal Tournament. Modern Shooters are bad because they're not skill-based, like Unreal Tournament was.

If you read this thread Phil, I hope I poisoned some minds today by pointing out that there is literally no incentive to sub since you just blow off sub goals anyway.

Because The Divine Herd is a “spectrum” of True and Honest fans, a good deal of them largely know whatever seedy thing could be revealed to them about Phil. The more ascendant of the Herd even keep-up with “Detractor” channels. I imagine the Sunk Cost Fallacy plays a part in all this, as well as resentment against those they've committed time to fighting.

One word: Redeemer.

If he ever played UT, Quake or any other fast paced arena shooter he would whine like a bitch while getting his ass handed to him and say that these style of fast paced twitch shooters don't require skill.

He can hardly keep up with run and gun games like CoD so UT he would fail miserably at.

I was gonna say the same thing. Aren't they twitch shooters? Requiring fast reflexes? I've seen this motherfucker line up a shot and miss, never mind reflexes.

I could reasonably believe that pre-DSP Phil could play UT or similar arena shooters quite well, but modern Phil? Not a fucking chance. The best part would be that since his ego can't accept that his age has degraded his reflexes he would just claim he was godlike when he played the older games so the new one MUST be terrible.

Those numbers are in bits so 5000 is $50 not $5000. That's still a lot of ads to watch to get $50.
Right, that's why I said hundreds not thousands. The figures that @Shark gave totaled 40,100 bits or $401, minus twitch's fees that's still hundreds of dollars.

I guess it was a poor choice of words on my part, when I said "those guys" I was referring to those guys collectively.

No he could be playing OG unreal and he'd say that they slightly changed the speed of the game and it's totally messing him up dood! A la street fighter

Who gives Phil $400 though. Did they lose a bet or do they just not realize how much actually good content there is on both twitch and youtube that you can get for free.

Its even worse; it’s a troll. He sits in chat and makes offhanded cheers trying to get Phil worked up. It works every once in a while, but for the amount of content he was able to squeeze from the stone, I feel that could have been better spent. In fact, he would’ve been better off cashing in $400 in $1s, setting all of them in a small pile and dousing them with gasoline. A small, ineffective fire could at least provide some warmth.

If you spend 400dollars on dsp, YOU ARE NOT A TROLL. You are a fan, supporter.

This theory should be shattered by the recent shill rant he went on. All it took was 2-3 streams of low donations to make Phil explode like that. He's done similar rants before but this one was dripping with envy and anger just because nobody dropped their life savings into his lap in the past 24 hours. It was so obvious even his own chat had to have a laugh. No troll cheer will ever get a reaction like that because it has money attached to it.

Eh, whatever. I'm nobodies keeper it's your time/money to spend. I don't understand the idea of paying someone for playing a video game period so maybe i'm out of touch with the whole situation.

How long has he been streaming tonight? He just received his 1st $1 tip just now. Doesn't he usually receive a few right at the start?

Prestream is usually his honeypot. The last few days he’s been struggling save for $100 he got for the release night stream for BLOPS4. He made like $3 yesterday in tips. That’s really, REALLY bad for Phil.

To be clear, though, he has still been getting $150-$200+ in cheers and subs each day, for the most part. So he's doing about average, but that's "bad" compared to the juiced up past couple of months.

God, look how fucking pale his skin is. Also not a clown....
