Most famously the trolling operation where 3 people got doxed. I rather enjoyed that in hindsight. Because the panic was real both among phil, and some of his "hardcore" fans. Because the dangerous collective of super hackers and criminals kiwifarms was an existential threat. At least to some people who had some skeletons in their closet. And they expected it would all be exposed. And that life ruination was imminent.

At the time what made me frustrated about this, is that it was sold as something that actually had an impact. That something bad was happening. It also created this notion that I was a super villain. And the viewbots was just a thing I had to have done. The only bad thing that happened was the hysteria people created for themselves. Myself included.

My favorite part of that is when @Raven'sChild pre-emptively doxed herself. Like.. Why? LOL

- Punishes anyone talking about politics, yet talks about political issues whenever he wants.
- Punishes anyone who throws shade at him, yet constantly does the same with no provocation.
- Punishes anyone who has a legit question/piece of advice/criticism, but says you're free to ask/tell him shit.
- Punishes anyone who has a difference of opinion, yet calls people out for having "echo chambers" and is infamous for being a contrarian when it suits him.

I wonder why Phil is so unpopular? *leg slap* *sigh*
During the few pre-streams i covered lately he always sets rules regarding what to say when you cheer or tip him, that you have to be nice towards him, people in chat and other content creators, don't bring up detractors, no religion or politics, always be positive and so on.

It usually just takes a few minutes before he breaks the rules when doing shoutouts, shitting on other content creators and detractors is common, yesterday it took a few minutes and he was talking politics.

I did not. If I did it would not be a big deal for me to admit it either. Back when I supported phil so many things would just be attributed to me. That anytime something happened, I was on a list of usual suspects. And I will happily admit I liked to stir the pot. And there are so many habitual pot stirrers among detractors that it would become a big mess.

I sort of went on a bit of a rant, but I just want to say I have never had anything to do with any viewbots. Hacking or anything like it.

thanks for clearing that up. The closest thing to a view bot I heard was some of Phil's fans would load up his videos in a playlist and just play them 24/7. I could be wrong but I think Popsicolo admitted to doing this? It might have been someone else. So his youtube videos did or still do have artificial boosts.

Some of his cult members (including Popsicolo) did admit to that. Loading up videos in playlist and leaving them on for hours while they do something else(Ex.School). Which ironicially admits that they don't watch his khantet for entertainment, but for support on his YouTube revenue.

I'll never understand his obsession with making himself in games. That's what it comes off as anyway, like he can't start until it looks as much like him as possible. Does anyone here do that? I won't lie, the idea of looking at myself in a game for hours on end creeps me out.
No. You see, I just happen to look like what happens when you press randomize in Oblivion by coincidence. Unless they have used my likeness without my consent.

I think a lot of dsp making dsp in games has to do with streaming and having an audience, I don't think Phil himself would spend hours doing it for himself and no audience, having a in game character that can further continue any odd/unique parts of a streamer personality could be entertaining to a viewer and an audience, its just a pity Phil doesn't have any positive traits to carry forward even his in game character was quickly referenced back to jerking off on stream.

It’s probably not that uncommon, it’s just an easy way for people to invest more in the avatar, and is a sad form of escapism. Dave is a fat loser but take his face and put it on a wrestlers body in a game and suddenly he can play he’s a somebody
I don't think it's inherently pathetic to make an avatar in one's own likeness since part of the fun is watching that avatar grow and change as the game goes on, and it adds to the immersion. It's like a non-fictional "you after 50 yrs" timelapse except it's now "you after destroying every dragon in Skyrim", "you after ripping a vengful spirit a new asshole and banishing them to hell", or something equally epic.

It's only pathetic in Dave's case because we already know how miserable and full of himself he really is, and because he hilariously exaggerates his avatar's musculature when he has more fat than muscle in reality.

There's also this crazy thing you can do when you're streaming a game and have an audience, now hear me out, you can let your chat decide what to make the character look like by either holding open polls in chat or holding an open raffle in chat and letting the winner pick. I believe it's called audience participation and interactivity. . .no wait, I must be mistaken because that's what it's called when you hold your stream hostage until someone throws a quarter at you with a note about how to play the game attached :cringe: I guess I don't remember what it's called. . .probably 'detractor memes' or something, I'll figure it out later

From what I gather, the lights and green screen go hand in hand.
I've seen another streamer start messing with a green screen and lights, and it seems like a pain if you don't have the aptitude for it.
Tevin would wear sunglasses just so he could see, and then turn off his facecam altogether when the lights made it too hot to bother.
I'm sure Phil isn't aware of anything past the little manual labour of sitting it up, though.
This would be the best, reasonable excuse for DSP to not use the green screen. You need the lights to get an even green colour for a good chroma key... the lights will heat up the room, which he already whines is too hot (say 15-20+F hotter than the outside temperature the weather reports) just from the equipment.

If he's a lowkey detractor, he's either real dedicated to the cause, or he became one over time. Dude's been present in chat since Feb. 2017 (which is like...the 2nd month Phil went back to streaming?)
DSP returned to Twitch midway through November 29th 2016 (his Twitch account came back during the Final Fantasy XV premiere stream) for the evening FFXV stream, someone got him added to OverRustle in January 2017. So that's within 3 months of return, haven't bothered to check if he's in my old public November/December logs.

I think this was a case of the "telephone game" where things get distorted as time goes on. My understanding was you had some screenshots of a random Discord conversation where someone claimed they paid for viewbots... and this eventually became 'BSV bought the viewbots!'. No evidence of this right now, it'd be many months back in this thread somewhere... maybe, might even just have been mentioned outside KF. So consider this more "telephone game" hearsay too. *shrug*

phil is the only content creator ive ever seen that gets mad/blames his audience when he himself is the root of the problem hes acting upset about

you don't play/do what people want to watch
you ban anyone who isn't a cult tier follower
and you're an asshole to people

somehow the entertainer is blaming people for not being involved and entertained

Haha wow, I went into his chat and it took about 45 seconds to see one message. Meanwhile I was watching another streamer with a too-fast-to-read chat so I know it wasn't a technical problem.

dont forget, punishes people for talking about detractors and bringing in negativity, but will go on a 20 min rant about detractors

It is the streamer's job to be entertaining and interactive with the stream chat and viewers, NOT the other way around. Like everything in his life, he expects others to do the job (that he hates) for him, while he gets all money for miminal effort.

I mean................. this is his chat RIGHT NOW (i literlly just screen capped)

I think its better to have a silent chat than this one, a bunch of people who are either high, stoned, itchy with balls, or feeling sad about Tut

Uhhh... I don’t know if you guys noticed, but there’s a thread going on here. It’s really hard to have an $$$INTERACTIVE$$$ thread when you guys are talking about random, off topic shit...

...anyway shoutout to memelord75 for the cheer, “hey bonesauce, why don’t you-“ and that’s a detractor meme, and that’s a detractor meme. And now you’re banned HUHHUH.
