However matt has a bunch of personal shit online. but he has some very very bad things online. mainly the dozens of jokes about under age females. selling his sisters thongs for weed,talking about politics that he doesn't agree with etc I think he is pretty much fucked at ever getting a decent job with normal hours, a job he can be proud of.

I'm seriously not sure of Mcdonalds would even take him. Yes any idiot do the work there. But jobs are very scarce and many people need them so he isnt doing them any favors. They for sure pick someone else over him. Most sad thing is that he thinks he has prior work experience. That would be a huge thing they would for sure look at. A guy in his mid 30's who has had only one legit job for 2.5 months. (being a clerk and handing out popcorn at some down piece of shit movie theater isnt looked at as a great resume booster.

Current job market is pretty competitive. He has no real skills besides shit online so would be useless in the kitchen. Hes admitted on a stream before he cant make shit. There will be people who have had past jobs at Walmart etc that are looking for a 2nd job, even is its just from another burger flipper its at least legit work within the last 15 years. Or high school kids (or earlier years in college) who are looking for their first ever job. Both of those cases will get the job 100000x before a guy who has had 1 semi legit job in the last 15 years (or more)

If you have such glaring issues they'll just use it as an excuse to work you harder and pay you less. I've worked with literal murderers and people who took breaks to do coke in the bathroom. It's a very out of sight job. I've never done fast food though.

Im just saying that now more than ever people are applying for any job they can get. Even some recent college grads will take a minimum wager if thats all they can get. It is very competitive now because most people are fine with anything as long as it pays. Im not saying that Mcdonalds would run matts name see all the shit and not pick him for that reason alone. Minor power level......One of my best friends brother is a manager at Wendys. Who is also in charger of interviewing and then hiring people afterwards. This last time they needed 5 new people and had 80 show up. Few months ago he needed 2 people and 45 showed up

So I didnt mean a fast food place would google him and because of that not hire him. It would just put him well below other people who want it. And if you list everything together, there is no way those places would even give a shot or debate it for a minute

1. Search his name and see all kinds of pedo shit and other gross shit

What I don't get about Matt, and really any of the other skeptic/rationalist youtubers , is why they don't invest the money they earn into doing some courses at a community college because most of them have no form of tertiary education to their name. If not for the education aspect, then at least as a way to network or expand their social circle.

I think any semi decently big city will have a lot of people trying to get jobs like that. There can sometimes be ex cons etc. But majority will be teens looking for their first job/summer job, and the job for the summer. Then they will also get college kids, even the ones not from the area. Many of them want extra $ and will work part time. Along with the locals who will want a job in college. There have been cases where a town where most of the people work together, and it has to shut down, they all flock to flip burgers. If I remember right was some coal mining town in WV bunch of guys got laid off and all the burger kings within an hour radius hired the most they could. Obviously not like the pay was the same and that even half the crew made it but was something that happened.
There is MASSIVE amounts of people being laid off, and when they exhausted all their options they will take a fast food job or a garbageman in a heartbeat.

Unless you're talking about places in Montana and North Dakota where there is no real competition or a job market, then I dont think he can get a job all that easily. Even if he got lucky going for a job where not that many people showed up, he would only get selected as a last resort if all the others turned it down.
