I think it's less a case of how the doxing was handled and more a case of how Jim handled the doxing.
Because let's face it, if he had made a more serious video blaming Kiwifarms for it and indicating that he was going to leave the internet because afraid of being SWATed, or had just gone completely quiet or deleted his accounts we'd likely be inundated with a wave of his more autistic fans screeching and trying to dox everyone on the site in revenge.

But Jim is Jim. Jim just laughed. Because he's not afraid of being SWATed, he was actually making jokes about it on the stream. He's known for a long time that this wasn't only a possibility, but an inevitability. Like having a grandpa diagnosed with cancer die after a few years. You kinda expect it and know how to handle it.
And in his usual fashion, Jim acquitted himself beautifully.

The funniest part of all this to me is that the autism of how the dox was pulled off turned what should have been a glorious moment into a laughing stock, holy fuck you have the arguably biggest dox on the net and you drop it like this, absolutely hilarious.

This is like some greek tragedy, flew too close to the sun shit, it all could have been great were it not for Pride.
