This isn't true at all. Roo, SnowVhite and TheSockDetective from Yahweh Clan all got doxxed for being lax with their infosec (and turning against the group). Incidentally, Yahweh Clan also shared a member with METOKUR in ex-ED sysop Lmte. The internet was a different time back then, and trolls didn't always follow best practices.

To all you spergs still insisting that this is fake, just think about this: if it is fake, why would you try and disprove it? The people who doxed him are motivated, resourceful, and autistic. If you convince them it's fake they will try again and maybe did him for real.

There's no reason to argue this point, the info is out there and bad actors will use it as they please. If it's false, not disproving it will waste the time of everyone who has it out for him, and embarrass everyone involved in collecting them even more if you let them run with it a bit before the truth eventually comes out.

I think the response from a lot of people outside of this forum who are calling his dox fake is rather interesting. Based on a lot of what I've been reading through (especially on /pol/), the idea that it's a fake dox seems to be an falsifiable assertion. In that, someone like Jim who has been hit before by numerous fake doxes as well as putting out fake doxes himself, such that any evidence that could confirm this dox being real is just another elaborate diversion by Jim. It's a type of denial that would be more often found in the minds of conspiracy theorists (which would actually make sense given again, /pol/).

Now let's for a moment assume that this new dox is indeed a fake. This would confirm one of two things: Jim so values his anonymity to such an autistic extent that he would to devise such a diversion that it would almost border on identity theft (in which case RIP the real James O'Shuaghnessy), or there is no real Jim and he is in fact an AI existing within and permeating the Internet who can therefore never be doxed. Of course, even Ted Taczynski was eventually found and Jim is far from an eco terrorist hiding in the woods (or an AI, for that matter), so I really struggle to think that he is as untouchable as so many people seem to believe. Perhaps it's just a refusal to recognize that no matter what you do in this day and age, there is no true anonymity anymore - by admitting that Jim was indeed doxed, then there would indeed be no escape for anyone.

Jim's response too was pretty interesting: As someone who laughs at the misfortune of others and the autistic situations they put themselves in, generally avoiding any sort of harsh negative emotion, someone who is always on the offensive, it calls into question how they may react when they are finally put into a position in which they need to defend themselves. But what better way would there be to respond other than to just laugh at one's own plight? Nothing truly incriminating was found, if anything it is just the simple fact that Jim was doxed that has caused such a commotion. If anything, Jim's response would only serve to cast doubt upon the dox in minds of those who would doubt it (for whom we have already established Jim being doxed is an impossibility), creating a shit show for him to laugh at all the while suffering no real negative consequences (indeed benefiting from it given how much he makes from superchats).
