He always uses the easiest characters to learn in a fighter so yeah, he'll probably use Nightmare and the guy from Witcher for views. Edit: oh yeah and Ivy so he can make totally original titty jokes that make him sound like a 12 year old that just discovered porn.

I know I’m probably late and we already know what he’s using, but Geralt might actually be a bad choice for him. Signs cost meter in a game that doesn’t really hand out that much of it unless you’re within a round of losing. He’d probably spam igni and then get salty when he can’t use it anymore.

edit: Adding on to this. God Of War he chooses to take his sweet ass time doing side stuff. That's boring and no one wants to watch that. Spiderman ps4, he chooses to take his sweet time doing side stuff that no one wants to see. Soul Cal 6, takes his sweet time doing side shit, mashing buttons against a cpu. No one wants to watch that, they want to see him fight real people.

Last time I checked in, after he does this custom character mode, he is going to do the story mode for the actual characters, THEN go into practice mode and see what they do. No one cares about that crap and if they did, they would play it themselves. You should have seen his custom character, no damn creative bone in his body and minimal work. Way to go dude.

I think thats actually a good reflection on how Phil is self absorbed. He only cares about himself, and things that benefit him, to the point where he has lost every single creative skill or bit of passion he may have had. So he keeps spending hundreds of dollars on games he doesn't enjoy and isn't good at, meaning his audience never grows and the only thing expanding is his bitterness and depression.

He chose a preset "race" character, gave it a voice, and a different set of hair. That's all he did. I was actually surprised he didn't try to make the typical dude in a white shirt with a goatee crap he normally does.

i would pay to see him lose to AI and then say i used to be a pro fighting gamer, i was 4th at evo. in front of a bunch of strangers and watch them laugh at him

at what point in your life do you go from winning tournies (which i wont deny, he did well here and there) to losing to ai.

I seem to have joined the stream while Phil is having a "Boss Episode". Not sure how long he's been plugging away at this Soul Calibur boss, but I would guess I've caught him in the middle of the usual 90-minute war of attrition, like so many Dark Souls and fighting game bosses before.

Phil just retries and retries and retries, not changing his strategy at all. Bitching and complaining that the boss is pulling off unfair moves (he's a boss, Phil). We all know what happens - he's going to keep retrying until he finally flukes a narrow win in about another 45 minutes time.

"What a fucking waste of time this is! Oh my gahhd." Yes Phil, tell your audience that your gameplay is a waste of time, that's correct. You could move on to another mode or another game entirely... but no... keep repeating this boss fight for another hour.
