We've been over this, they don't actually like being represented, they actively ignore any "representation" unless it directly panders to tumblr types (like Life is Strange) because there being representation obviously doesn't support the "there is no representation" narrative. Those faggots need their eyes checked. Jafar is red and black, opposite Sultan and Jasmine's blue and white. The purple characters in that movie are Aladdin himself, Abu and of course Carpet.
Also, the movie was Howard Ashman's idea and his last work before he died of AIDS.

The cowardly homosexual lion kills the true king and takes over, and the Pridelands start to wither and rot. God takes the rain away. Then the minute the noble heterosexual lion deposes the evil homosexual king, God forgives the Pridelands. He sends the rain to wash away the sin and bring the land back to life. Then the first thing the heterosexual lion does is breed, and everyone lives happily and heterosexually ever after.

For some reason this is preferable to Scar just being evil and the death of the Pridelands simply being a visual metaphor.
