I saw it like 9 month ago because New Blood Interactive(the publisher of AMID EVIL and DUSK) published it.
It doesn't have new news about the game after months, I feel the devs are lazy.

Seeing that, I think after in 2018 they released Dusk and AMID EVIL and people respond positively enought, NBI say to them "fuck off" and stop giving money to them.

Eh, if I wanted to play a riot game I'd play an emulation of State of Emergency. At least there the villain is someone I can get behind burning to the ground.

They're not protesters, they're "street preachers," but yeah, they are those "repent or burn" types. These guys call themselves the "Hell Shaking Street Preachers," and they're kind of Patriot Prayer Portland staples. I believe this was another Patriot Prayer thing where Antifags were trying to start shit, per usual.

That's nothing compared to the shitfest that was Riot: Civil Unrest.
It started as a crowd-funding project, people paid for a small indie game in 2013, which finally came out on Steam (early access of course) in the beginning of 2017.
People were fuming on the forums, the team (it was mostly a one man project) behind it would not respond to the criticism and inquiring of the buyers, no no no, they were too occupied posting about how the sound is so realistic. I can't remember if he explained why the game was delayed so much but it seems he had to start again from scratch at some point.
And guess what? The game is quite bad, I didn't touch it after the initial release since it was not only buggy as hell, the optimisation was garbage.
