Like with Nyberg, though their crimes are, of course, very different in scale, I do wish Renfamous had to deal with even a bit of backlash from her own side - but no, owning the Nazis is more important. It's why I can't take the anti-CG (or anti-GG) seriously - CG was very quick to reject Vox Day's attempt to shanghai the movement for his own gain, and disavowed him constantly. But the opposition is extremely reluctant to ever clear house for the wrongthink they are so eager to police in their opponents.

Eh, to be fair, there really has to be a statute of limitations when it comes to stupid crap a person did in their youth, especially on the internet. Lord knows I'd much rather be judged as the person I am now than the person I was five, ten, or twenty years ago, both on the internet and IRL.

Oh, sure. But as far as I can tell she received absolutely no blowback from it, even though the stuff she said was undeniably worse than the stuff she continually attacks the CGers for.

Read back up on Nyberg's ED page and if accounts are true then he did some sick shit and not just internet edgelord stuff that should be forgotten. I think Renfamous is more like Alison Rapp, said some stupid shit in the past and is trying to whore herself out currently.

I think Malin's made it a few days ago, they are pushing Millers 'Lonestar' now as it only has ~1.2k to get to six figures young lady.

With regards to DC, botany is an important part of Poison Ivy's character.

It was, all she's used for now is being lesbian with Harley Quinn, which is terrible and forces her to be wildly out of character from the very concept, so you can safely say that any aspect of Poison Ivy as a character has been assassinated many years ago. Yeah, I miss Horny Aunt Poison Ivy. She always added a weird sadomasochism to her crimes which made her unique and interesting. Then they made her an environmentalist. Then they made her a good guy (because how can an environmentalist be evil?). Then they took a character best known for dry humping Batman in literally every appearance and made her a lesbian. And now she's generic lesbian environmentalist who is maybe good maybe bad, who the fuck knows?

Hey everyone, ever heard of things called romance novels? They comprise something like 50+% of all book sales. They are as pandering as it gets, spanning comfortingly predictable stories and gorgeous people on the cover. Never once have I heard NPCs complain about this because women like it. Meanwhile, bikinis and good looking outfits in video games aimed at men need to be censored because they offend non-customers who have apparently never been to a beach or seen a fashion show.

Do you think there will ever be a RomanceGate? Like, do you ever think NPCs will try and insert politics into romance novels and make the fictional men in them not as appealing? Do you think the female dominated audience will have the drive to resist them if they do? I bet that won't happen because women like them. Or if it does, it will be swept under the rug as much as possible. Or the NPCs will work extra hard to make nice with them and try to use it as an example of how female customers are better. LOL, that last one won't happen, the customer is always wrong according to NPCs.

Romance is just porn for women, and I think porn is going to be mostly immune to SJW incursions because of the structure of the business and the nature of the paying customer base.

"Disapproved" content has already broken through the mainstream consensus in romance, so we have precedent for this. The main lines like Harlequin and what-have-you have had to accept BDSM content that was unthinkable not that long ago, because indies and random scribblers on the internet were eating their lunch. People have demonstrated that they're willing to go to wherever the material that gets them off is.
If people came into the mainstream romance publishers and started banning "problematic" content, readers would just go back to the indies again.
