He really wishes this was true. Every few months he comes up with a new version of this. Its just not true no matter how desperate (and he must be desperate with all the versions of these he's had) he wants it to be true. DSP started doing playthroughs in 2008, started getting big in 2009 and started getting paid for it in super late 2010 (November)
Lets Plays were a thing by that name in like 2004, people started uploading parts of playthroughs to Youtube in like 2006, and full playthroughs which were eventually called Lets Plays on Youtube later in the year in 2007. All before DSP even started uploading partial footage to Youtube. Lets Players started getting paid in like 2009, and then it really picked up late 2010, when DSP started getting paid for it. So he wasn't an originator, he was just one of the crowd.
I get why he really desperately wants to be an originator, it makes him feel like he made an impact, that he's influenced the internet, so he matters. But its just simply not true. He's went from "I was the first lets player before they were even called lets plays" to "I was the first lets player on Youtube" to "I was one of the first lets players on Youtube" to "I was one of the first people on Youtube to do full playthroughs, not partial playthroughs" to now "I created the term playthrough" None of its true. Its just not true. Its easily proven wrong.

My response to this, assuming that's the same "actormichaelmerchant" as in Phil's chat, was "he's humiliated kushiyakitori, then had other regulars Bobbi_Ling and actormichaelmerchant both cut ties with him on Twitter, all within the space of a week". Now Bobbi_Ling's in Phil's chat again. There's no reasonable reaction to these things
Are these not the same thing? It could be I'm confusing two separate instances. I remember Phil getting the massive Cryaotic host, which was met with quitting to have dinner with Kat and the "Somethings are more important than money, real talk" vomit in chat. Who's Arturo?

This must be his revenge for his Tip-less Soul Calibre VI Online stream. He's been on four and a half hours and still nothing to go "straight to the bills". This is like when he was "tricked" into playing that UFC game online.
A possible tell that these types of tweets come from when Phil's drunk (or maybe having a manic/depressive episode) is they're not going on his more business-like forums. He wants communication with other people that instant. When he's drunk he has to tell everyone how he's feeling.
