I understand that and I'm not railing on the show as a whole, I've had some fun for the most part over the past two or so months I've been tuning in. I'm just agreeing with the commentor a couple posts above me that this past stream that I was catching up on was a boring garbage fire and so far the only one I shut off mostly because of how annoying the group was being. Much like Sunday Funday was. So I guess it's been a bad week so far for my daily programming.

I'll agree to disagree on some of the people covered not being cow material though. They're all powder kegs of autism waiting to blow up someday down the line, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe Ralph will indeed prove to be that exception, but I think recent years have shown it can happen to anybody.

The problem with these two is that even when they are "doing well" and contributing to their maximal capacity, they're still annoying and grating to listen to. Both come across as late teen spergs - its like listening to high schoolers on their take on X.

The sad reality is that the situation changes when you become famous, and having two spergs give their half digested opinions may have cut it when he had 100 listeners, but doesnt quite cut it now that he has 5000+. Ethan is probably cautious about getting rid of them after seeing what happened between Warski/JF, but the situations are only analogous superficially at best. Ethan needs to face the reality that if he wants to break from 5000 to the big boys club, for which he actually has a chance given how well he runs the show dynamics, he needs to do something about this two co-hosts.

I do agree though, sometimes his co-hosts come across as "late teen spergs," and a lot of times their opinions don't seem to be very deep or thought out.

My thought on this is that Ralph is a pretty reasonable guy. He embraces drama, and have fun with it. But he still have a more serious side. He is genuinely interested in politics as well. So even though things get a bit spergy at times. With co hosts and what not. He manages to keep things moving. And his Ego is usually not getting in the way of whatever is happening. With other hosts they tend to get a bit egocentric. When Ralph manages to stay neutral even in situations where you know what side he is on.

I have to say it shows character and how loyal he is. When he values personal integrity over what is perceived as being the popular decision.

Doesn't Gator handle all the technical stuff? He'd be a tough to replace, I think.
As for opinions, I'd hate to see Gator go and I can't think of anyone fit to replace him. They're a hard crew to roll with. Even Dick seemed to be getting tired of a lot of the really politically incorrect shit, and the timeslot is rough too.
