It really is interesting, In Waids case its an industry vetran begging for money from an industry he helped destroy.

Devin Greyson was a comic book writer in the late 90s & early 2000s who was obsessed with Nightwing. Like “changed her last name to ‘Greyson’ to match Nightwing’s alter ego Dick Greyson” obsessed. She got her foot in the door by doing the 90s equivalents of what Cain and Ewing did to get their gigs: cold calling DC’s offices and badgering them for work until someone finally relented.

I’m not sure if that user is referring to this instance specifically, but DC eventually had to distance themselves from Devin after accusations of plagerism started to crop up and her Nightwing series jumped the shark when she had her self-insert rape Nightwing on screen, and then proceeded to stick her foot in her mouth by trying to play it off as BDSM role play.

Other than that, I don’t know if there was anything else with Devin Greyson or what that has to do with Mark Waid.

Not only but That Umbrella Guy too apparently, I have my doubts these are the only ones. Shouldn't take too long until we found who else got false flagged. I hope that can be used somehow in this lawsuit.

From what I've gathered, Waid and a comic shop known by Alter Ego Comics got into business together. Whatever thot Mark Waid was dating at the time got into an argument with someone named Jason (Might be the owner, co-owner or a manager) and it got ugly. Ugly enough that Waid made a not so subtle threat about legal action and whipped out the cliche 'evil business man' line. The comic shop had to let Jason go and it was later completely taken over by the thot. Apparently there's a tape out there of Waid screeching and ripping the carpet while 911 asks for the situation (That's going to be awesome if found). https://archive.fo/EO9eR
