Before the thread is filled with people piling on to say how glad they are he's arrested, I'm curious why the child abuse charges aren't listed, unless there's not enough room in the online form to list all of his crimes. Would it be harder to form a de facto connection of him abusing his nepher based purely on the logs? (I'll admit that I haven't read the logs in full)
From what I've been hearing, someone found pictures of him sexually abusing a dog and his full face and body were in the pictures. My guess is it's the hardest evidence police currently have to go on until they can search his property.

With how long the logs are, I'm wondering if the police have read the entire thing yet. I'm also not sure if Telegram logs by themselves are admissible as evidence. Although, wasn't there word of him sharing pictures of his nephew inside the chat? If the police have his computer I'm sure they'll find something.

Edit:
Judging by the Incident Type, County, and the same officer, it seems that Simmons is being charged with child abuse related crimes.

I'm thinking that is the case. A victim testimony makes for an extremely concrete legal case.

Nick Bate is a perfect example: he was talking about it for years, but was not centerpunched until his cousin came forward.

This really made my day, goddamn.

Also yeah once they get a hold of his computers I think they'll find plenty of evidence. Snakething seems like a guy too stupid to delete things off this computer that could potentially incriminate him. He'd probably make it easy cause he'd label his folders 'nephewpics' or something equally stupid.

EDIT: spelling
I'm kinda upset about that too. I will not be fully satisfied until he's charged for that. He needs to be put away for as long as possible. They all do.

Do you think they'll be able to link the other furries to him, and will law enforcement come down on them? Or do you think they'll just take this guy down and let the others go to ground?

Most likely the initial arrest warrant was based on immediately available felony probably cause.

If there was no immediate and obvious evidence that he'd ACTUALLY committed sexual abuse instead of just talking edgy or they found actual CP laying around when they arrested him, they'll wait to file charges on those until they have investigated, documented and built a case that can't be ruled out as circumstantial in court.

They'll need to interview the mother and the nephew, send his electronic devices off to forensics, and document the chain of evidence if he molested the kid, showed the kid porn or took pictures of him.

I've no doubt this guy will eventually end up on the Sex Offender registry, provided he manages to live through his prison stint.

i will send the inmate who kills him a christmas gift every year for the rest of his sentence.

Send him to one of those prisons where the inmates care for abandoned dogs, and put him in a cell with the biggest, meanest, and craziest caretakers. If they whack him, I'll send them a big bag of kibble and treats!

He better hope for his sake he gets solitary. Prison will not be kind to a child abusing puppy rapist.
