While muscle control can’t be gained in his face, with the advances in plastic surgery he could have his bottom lip stitched up to make his mouth less awkward. The procedure could involve stitching the inside of the lip to the gum line, I think. He could definitely improve his look with plastic surgery so that his bottom lip doesn’t droop to his feet, but of course that’s hooker money. Plus it would affect his ability to whore out his disability if it wasn’t so obvious.

However, it's Russ's NPD, his inability to self reflect and his extreme sense of entitlement which accounts for the majority of his 'dumb' behaviour.

The guy makes too many mistakes that don't at all ring out like a 'smart not wise' person who is highly intelligent but is not good at getting it across because of various reasons. Russ is simply a bit slow, and a bit too slow to know it. Therefore it's a constant surprise to him when he is repeatedly shot down, shut down, laughed at etc. while he thinks of himself as a misunderstood genius who marches to his own beat, instead of 'God's Pet Idiot' which he is.

I've known Narcissists (of average intelligence) who were perfectly capable of learning from their mistakes. They'd get humiliating negative feedback from others that pointed out where their own thinking had failed them, and rather than double down, insist they were right, and continue to perpetuate their folly, they would use that criticism to formulate another plan of action, one that would get them what they wanted.

Sure, they'd do the usual post-humiliation retreat-and-sulk Ns do, and emerge either having chucked their mistake down the memory hole, or having crafted a new story about their mistake that reflected better on them. But they didn't repeat the same mistake. They may still not have seen it as "wrong," or "bad," but they did at least grasp the fact that it didn't fucking work.

Russell's persistent and total inability to admit that what he is doing doesn't fucking work, isn't getting him anything he wants, and is only adding to his personal unhappiness and social ostracism, isn't due to his Narcissism, but rather his stupidity.

I've got a personal lolcow who is also a Narcissist, and like Russell she keeps doing the exact same thing, making the exact same mistakes over and over, getting buttmad because they don't work, and it's everybody else's fault she's a failure whose life has gone to shit. I forgot about this, he wanted to do a TED talk about dealing with the “Taylor Swift’s” in your life. Because we all obsess over, stalk, and try to sue some celebrity.

His biggest delusion is that he thinks he’s any kind of inspiration to ANYONE. He didn’t overcome his disability, he’s not successful, and other disabled people are probably thanking their lucky stars he gets no attention since he would hurt their efforts for actually overcoming disabilities.

The thing that fascinates me is that he can't grasp that his recent woes are solely due to his response to being told no. He didn't have to sue Swift. As @Angry New Ager said, a higher functioning narcisscist might take a hit to their ego, then they'd decide Taylor Swift wasn't worthy of their attention, and go try something else to get famous. None of this mess would have happened if he'd just walked away, like almost anyone else in that situation would.

The link to the script is around here somewhere, but it's awful, just like his TS book. It's riddled with historical inaccuracies (he has the Nazis driving Jeeps, for example) and it's the clunky prose we've come to expect from him.
