So, I realized something today.
About a year ago, IA posted this vidya on Mighty Number 9's Dina, a so-called SJW that allegedly fucked her way into the role of a community manager. I didn't think too much about it at the time, but today, I learned a horrifying post-script to this story: As of this moment, this woman has begun openly banning donors who support Gamergate in any way, shape, or form.
This is fucking real. She is actively blocking people who have donated hundreds of dollars to this project because they support Gamergate.
The response has been a lot of people pulling out of the project in response and demanding reparations.

Jesus Fucking Christ, 190k just to put a character into a game which can be fucking done with out money. I don't know much of the story behind the whole Capcom vs. Inafune and would like to know more about it in detail but if this is how Inafune thinks this is how money works then I'm not surprised that they severed ties, even considering how big of an asshole Capcom can be.

Can you sue someone for making a spiritual successor? I don't think so really, its similar yeah but it's not plagiarism per se.
I think the highlight of him leaving is that they cancelled Mega Man Legends 3 and blamed the fans for not giving enough input and instead of him sticking around and finishing before (like Kamiya did with Devil May Cry) he jut rushed off and made his company. It was innocent enough until he showed how willing he is to exploit his fans with this bullshit.

It's just that I would never put it past a company not to sue the asses off the people that are trying to make a profit off this project even if it's a "spiritual successor", especially a company like Capcom.

That just makes my wonder why they would do that besides maybe trying to improve their PR, I don't want to get this more off topic
but let's just say that even before all of the controversy of the Mighty Number Nine happened I had major doubts about it and everything about it makes me extremely suspicious that they're just embezzle money from the kick starter or maybe the less malicious the reason is that Inafune is a hack, like I said why do you need that massive amount money just to put almost zero effort features into a game.
