I wouldn't completely dismiss the possibility. Most of Wendig's earlier works feel like something a teenager would write after watching a Tarantino film too many times. Also Death Proof feels like the kind of movie Wendig would adore and praise for all the wrong reasons. Evil white cis male villain gets taken down by team of diverse strong women out for revenge who then gloat over his corpse. Note that I actually like the movie, I'm just pointing out the only reason Chuck would love it.

Before his book came out, people were worried he'd make a Tarantino version of SW so he made this tweet in response. I guess people were already apprehensive about him writing the first major SW book. I'm not sure if his tweet is mocking Tarantino or not for being "sexed-up" and "foul mouthed" (despite Wendig himself being a spewer of verbal diarrhea and his earlier books being just that with no class whatsoever). Either way, fuck him.

Twitter getting rid of the its like button is only a problem for narcissists and fools who spend too much time on social media. Imagine getting upset about not being able to like posts any longer when retweeting fulfills the same exact purpose (showing apprecation and/or endorsement).
An empty gesture from Jack Dorsey, much like the Dems, he can't openly disavow the problematic elements on his platform, as they bring in too much traffic and it would cost actual effort from his part.

The world would be better off without Twitter (and social media as a whole), it's a site explicitly designed to maximize the amount of verbal diarrhea spouted by its users.
It doesn't have the same stigmas like, say, Tumblr and it caters to normies whose experience with internet forums doesn't extend past Reddit.

Not even looked into this lolcow before and im blocked from reading his tweets... Sadly for Wendig that only makes me want to look into him more, Engaging good boy account to pass twitter blockade

Edit:First impressions of the guy... Does he have a thing for Joss Whedon? He comes off as a Whedon wannabe to me, and writes like people on Buffy/Angel forums back in the early 2000`s
