I know someone who used to work at a hotel that hosted an annual furry convention, and they told me with disgust that after every nightly dance, the cleaning crew for the hotel had to go into the ballroom and pick up a huge mess of used condoms all across the floor.

Sorry I haven't checked this in a couple days. I'll try to answer these questions a well as possible now.
Q: What is your relationship with Kero?
A: At first (about 3 years or so ago) Kero was a YouTuber who I enjoyed and respected for their content. I came across his Telegram and we started chatting and soon became acquaintances due to us both being interested in film/photo. About 2 years ago Kero began a Patreon chat and I offered to help moderate it. As I was a moderater, I had more constant contact with Kero and we would exchange messages and talk occasionally, resulting in a sort of friendship. Then, at the beginning of this 2018, we began talking more often and became decent friends.
Q: How long have you been a moderator for him? How and why were you offered this position, and did you accept it before or after the leaks?
A: I have been an official moderator for Kero for 2 years. Before that, we would talk about his career casually and I would occasionally give my two cents on topics. I was offered this position by asking Kero if I could help him out because he was trying to run everything himself and it seemed like a lot of work. I accepted it 2 years ago which was before the leak.
Q: How has the zoosadism situation affected you personally? How has it affected your relationship with Kero?
A: Personally, it taught me some lessons such as how to handle stressful situations, how it's better to own up to your mistakes than hide them, and what NOT to do when making social media posts haha. As well as that, I have had to address a lot of friends about it since they know I'm involved with him, but they all seem to be decently understanding. Obviously, with me being identified, I've had to take higher security precautions but that's to be expected. My relationship with Kero has changed with all this in ways I still can't quite identify. I see both sides of the story and I'm more biased towards Kero due to being his friend, but it definitely is a trial of friendship.
Q: Do you receive any benefits from being his moderator?
A: I wish!!! He should cover my carpal tunnel surgery from having to delete so many messages from chat! Seriously though, I don't get anything special besides the occasional calls with him when he has questions or stuff to discuss.
Q: Are you one of his Patrons or do you support him monetarily in any way?
A: I used to be a patron but with college, I had to cut down on spending and dropped it. I was a measly $1 tier.
Q: Thoughts on how Kero has chosen to respond to the allegations?
A: I think he should have just spilled it all out in the beginning, as is always best. It's been handled sloppily but hopefully, we'll get some sort of proper response soon. FYI I advised against most of this stuff.
Q: Thoughts on AshleyZoeFox?
A: Never met or talked with her so I have no idea. I actually haven't seen her thread on KF so if someone could reply with that, I'll check it out. I have no idea about her relationship with Kero and didn't even really know she existed before all this honestly.
Bonus Q: Do you feel that users on KF, Twitter, and other platforms are justified in their anger over the situation? Or do you believe it's just "fandom drama"?
Bonus A: Absolutely, members of the community are justified in their anger. However, I believe many turned this anger into a more harmful emotion, hatred. Also, many members communities (furry twitter especially) have been playing a game of telephone and corrupting the facts/evidence resulting in some weird rumors that are just really dumb. Some people legit think Kero is in prison right now and other people are running his accounts and stuff, and they believe it cause of some random twitter post with no source. AKA furries are dumb.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys! I wish KF emailed me when I got a reply or something so I would actually think to check this webiste.
Finally got to answering some stuff for ya!

Recommended reading. The criteria for passing this "trial of friendship" is not the criteria you seem to think it is.
Let me put it this way: If you can continue to remain friends with an offending zoophile who was complicit in the activities of the zoosadists, who said he enjoyed cubs and roadkill quite candidly to the sort of folks that would drug a dog then fuck it with a baseball bat until it twitched involuntarily... what does that say about who you are today? Or about who you will be a year from now if you decide to remain his friend?
Who do you want to be? Another sick fuck that drags society down and harms the public image of the people you call "friend" because of your tacit approval of zoosadistic behavior? Or a person with enough fucking backbone to say, "It's over; I can't be friends with someone who's okay with terrible acts, let alone gets off to it."

Concerning, to me, is this "trial of friendship" you perceive the situation to be from your end, @KaiTheFoxy.
Your primary concern with the Zoosadism Leaks seems to be directed away from the actual events contained within, specifically between Kero and Nelizar:
- the discussion of how arousing some of these acts are;
- the bragging about committing some of these acts, true or not;
- the sharing of zoo, bestiality, and Zoosadism content;
- the casual dismissal of actual, verifiable animal abuse, torture, and rape committed by the other party;
- the casual dismissal of self-admitted child molestation committed by the other party;
Considering you're acting as Kero's de facto PR advisor, you should understand that this is not a very good look for you.
Instead of attempting to shame you or crack jokes (which would be expected for exceptional individuals, like Kero and the people who still support him unconditionally), I'm going to ask questions that might be more challenging for you to answer. Despite your happy-go-lucky demeanor in responding to questions in a thread that includes topics such as raping puppies with foreign objects until they begin seizing, I'm going to request you think about these a little, and take them more seriously than you currently are.
- You said that you've read through the leaks. About the logs with Kero and Nelizar:
- What were your initial thoughts when you first encountered them?
- What were your thoughts during and after your reading of them? Did you read through all of it, just the highlights, or a minimal amount (such as a single or a few Twitter threads)?
- Did you believe they were faked? Do you still believe that they're fake?
- Do you believe there's a possibility they were edited by someone? If so, for what reason?
- Did you believe Kero's claim that he was hacked and that the logs were faked? Do you believe it today?
- Nelizar was arrested and charged with several animal cruelty-related crimes. He was then released, pending additional charges from the DA (IIRC). The justification for his arrest began with the chatlogs that Kero was directly involved in, for a duration similarly long to how long he's been friends with you. His conversations in those logs happened during the same period he befriended you, from then through today. Does this concern you at all?
- About Zoophilia, Zoosadism and Kero:
- Does Kero's zoophilic tendencies have any bearing on your considering continuing your relationship with him? Keep in mind, I'm not talking about anthropomorphic characters, but actual, real-life animals.
- Does Kero's involvement in participating in the distribution of Zoosadism content (being the receiver, and claiming he has also participated in an act) conflict with any of your personal ideals involving animals, animal cruelty, and animal conservation?
- Do you believe, if any aspect of these leaks are real, that this might directly conflict with Kero's public stance on wildlife conservation?
- Do you believe Kero had any part in any act with an actual animal?
- What are your thoughts on the supposed death of his dog, Koda? What about Keros apparent quick turnaround to Zoo/Zoosadist content shortly after Koda's death (as evidenced in the logs)?
- About the community's division between "outrage" and "support" of Kero after these events:
- How do you feel about different groups' (such as several other "FurTubers", the Furry Raiders, and verified zoophiles) reactions to the events?
- Which groups or individuals, if any, do you support in their overall message about Kero's "innocence"? Why?
- You believe those that are outraged are justified in their anger, but believe this anger has turned into "hatred", which is more harmful than the anger, coming to the conclusion that "furries are dumb", which seems to be the end of your thought on this point.
- Do you believe it's morally unjust to hate someone for any reason?
- Do you believe it's morally unjust to have intercourse with animals? Do you believe consensual sex between humans and animals is possible?
- Do you believe it's morally unjust to harm animals? Using them for food can also factor into this response, if you like.
- Do you believe Zoophiles who commit acts of bestiality are deserving of hatred?
- Do you believe Zoosadists who commit acts of animal cruelty, torture, and murder are deserving of hatred?
- Is it worthwhile for hatred, justified or not, to serve as fuel for uncovering the truth and bringing the individuals involved in active crimes against animals to justice?
- If Kero is proven to be one of the offenders (which is arguably true, as of right now, in some capacity), does this affect your opinion on the above?
It's a lot, I understand. I don't expect a response to any of this, honestly. But I think that responses like these are necessary after, in my opinion, displaying a disturbing level of apathy when it comes to the Zoosadism event. As of right now, you are the person closest to Kero who is directly interacting with anyone involved with the ongoing case we have going, here.
I appreciate your time, that you've already given and hopefully will continue to give, and hope to hear back from you.
And please, if you can (because you mentioned you hadn't seen it), read up on AshleyZoeFox (HERE) before approaching any of this. It'd be a big help if you were brought up to speed on her existence and her relationship with Kero. Age gap is not uncommon with furries. In general, high school age kids tend to think it's cool to hang out with adults, no matter their age, but bonus if they're closer in age to the high school kids. The onus falls on the adults to set acceptable boundaries for the relationship.
