EVS is talking about Nerkish and something on discord that is "so bad that it would get his channel banned by talking about it" and asks people to trust him on that.

Anyone know what he's being dramatic about?

Ironically a bunch of Superman villains are other aliens coming to invade Earth. Also it's been established modern takes of Superman identify more with Earth than Krypton, he's just Clark Kent from Kansas and "Kal-El of Krypton" is secondary at best. The metaphor doesn't really work.

There appear to be edgy memes in the "#this-is-chinatown" channel, though I haven't seen anything too terrible.

They're saying here that Lim, not Nerkish, was the one that backed out:

Not going to monitor this server since I don't want to be infected with Discord canceraids, but it'd be cool if someone braver than me can keep an eye on it and report more on their version of the story.

ETA: Just like with GG, we're seeing factioning between "moralfags" wishing to keep things apolitical and a more chaotic faction willing to use the movement as a political weapon.

I kinda expected autism like this given EVS can't be arsed to try to make his clickbait title card not look like cringe, his whinging on about how being a GOP voter is hard and ignoring how these views are perfectly mainstream, and his low effort attempts to control and centralize CG. Oh, and his toy autism with the Rose shit.

I expected some spaghetti to fly the moment I saw centralization like that. Doubly so since he's caring more about his streams and Twitter than finishing his comic.

Nerkish used to make fun of the disabled, fatties and blacks in his old SuperChats (see below). His Discord channel spun out of those videos.

I saved a couple of Nerkish's old SuperChats. Edgelordy shit, but nothing EVS hasn't seen or participated in before.

So it's EVS fault rather than the #WHORECAMPAIGN squad like some people have mentioned on twitter? If so then fuck EVS for that. Then again, apparently the #WHORECAMPAIGN dudes were responsible for sending Sashii running for the hills. Seeing as how EVS has been humoring those guys for so long, fuck him for that too!

I found that Discord link on Nerkish's YouTube profile. Maybe there was a different Discord, or maybe this one isn't official, but it has Nerkish's blessing to that degree, at least.

Later in the stream, EVS revealed something which gives credence to Lim being the initiator of the split. He said that when Miller joined CG and did the now infamous poster of characters, he asked EVS if Lim's character Thump should be included, and EVS said no. I didn't catch whether that was on a public stream or not, but either way, word of it apparently got back to Lim. But doesn't Thump appear on the poster anyway?

Cecil has joined the stream just now. He apparently told EVS earlier he was going to rebrand Cash Grab as Back Stab, which is clever. Let's see what he has to say.

ETA: Cecil is confirming he was caught completely off guard. He says he felt he was on great terms with Lim and Nerkish up to the end. He says the project isn't going to work without Nerkish (of course; I don't understand the people on the stream saying he could continue the book without him). He says he had already purchased items for the crowdfund campaign tiers.

Personally i think it's fine that you made an account to watch threads, prepare for the butt blasted anti side push back though. I didn't comment because I'm not signing up to twitter/etc for that.

Will you make a correction now that you are aware there is an error? Nick Rekieta isn't an attorney advising Meyer (nor is Nick Rikieta).
