I love people who will try to be some sort of moral paragon in the public and then in private allow weird, questionable shit that is similar to what they just denounced go on. Does he ever comment or talk about this work or is one of those people barely active in his own discord?

Ive seen his face before, he looks like a homosexual yid. Which let's be honest, he probably is.
Also seen it, think he did a few unboxing videos, will link the maple syrup one.

Back to the newer video, he keeps getting off-track and self-admits needing a script to keep on topic.
Other than that, it's a general ramble and thinking about making that as his new blogging concept.

Face reveal.. you guys remember the kid from Back at the Barnyard?
I predict his channel will slowly die off after this. His schtick with his content was these Armored Skeptic-style videos with a furry slant. And in that demographic he was killing it, he even ran a subreddit for furry youtubers. However now he's trying to dive into the even more oversaturated vlogger crowd. And he doesn't have the looks nor the natural charisma to do that.
The fact that he feels self-important enough to announce "I'M LEAVING FOREVER YOU GUYS" just asserts how out of touch he is, and that he will inevitably crawl back to this channel at some point in time. If he were genuine about getting a life and moving on from the fandom, he'd have just done it and not made a big deal about it. Shut his channel down, make his old social media profiles blank/private, etc. But he didn't.

I'm not going to listen to 35 minutes of Kothorix talk, but my guess is that he's going to be "done" with the furry fandom but keep his channel open and migrate it toward gaming/streaming content because I believe he's active on Twitch. So while he's claiming to be abandoning the fandom, he will surely be quick to about face and cash in on the subscribers/followers he amassed. I also wouldn't be surprised if he incorporated his dragon avatar into his Twitch motif either by retrofitting his "reaction" poses into a stream layout or just springing for a FaceRig puppet of it.
I speculate that if he tries to shift his content toward a more gaming channel format it probably won't do well either since he has admitted to needing a script. And one thing that's clear from his videos is Kothorix is a very reactive person. Most of his videos he is reacting to something other people are doing and not being the focus of attention. So his content will just be bland and will slowly die off in terms of views.

In both of these circumstances (vlogging or gaming) he's jumping into a much more saturated market and not offering anything unique.

He said he wouldn't

In his "i'm leaving now bye guis" video he talks about how one of the reasons he's leaving is because of the amount of pedophiles and zoophiles in the fandom. He even cites the 18% statistic.

Oh hey look he left the fandom because of the fandom.

You can now quit discussing this guy now, I always hated this thread.

It was more of a "I'm quitting the fandom, in name only". He's still going to do almost exactly the same thing, on the same platform, to the same audience, with the same Patreon funding.

The only difference is now he feels like he can take the moral high ground when the fandom is caught in a scandal, as an outsider, while also taking a position of authority on the fandom, as a "former" furry YouTuber and/or well-known fandom-adjacent public figure.

This is textbook Unwarranted Self-Importance.

So sitting through his most recent vlog under the new format, with the rather pretentious title "You're wrong about Fallout 76" to kick things off.
I'll try to keep the 'tism to a minimum, but some of the highlights definitely need mentioning.
Because he seems to compare this game to other titles like (and using his exact list) "DayZ, H1Z1, Rust & ARK" in-structure to F:76, he uses this as justification for breaks in series tradition.
Couple exceptions are brought in things like PvP, where he brings up how it will effect the player base, where others such as a lack of, or very minimal story telling in those games aren't brought up here.
  • No NPCs - He identifies the series prior had an emphasis on NPCs/choice, "But when you stop thinking of Fallout 76 as a Fallout-game, and think of it as an MMOFPS", stating you can't have world-changing stories in that genre, and can only really have in a singleplayer game. Outside the mention of having quest-giving signpost characters, and flavour-text background dressing, he brings up the setting as another reason why there's no human NPCs "...because humans are meant to be scarce, and instead of NPCs, you get a bunch of corpses who have little recordings on them, and you get to figure out what their story is based on those recordings."
  • Dead body recordings - He doesn't understand why people do not like this approach of story telling, saying it's more streamlined to pick up a recording and keep playing through the stage, instead of exhausting dialogue options with that character. "...I think if it were any other game, people wouldn't care; we've seen this so many times in other games, and its always been fine"
  • Character progression/card system - Brings up how others find the system weird, but how he personally likes it. Gushes about how much customisation the card system gives you
He does admit at the start that the game has underlying issues that the community brought up vocally (mainly bugs, latency, etc), while emphasising he's only played a couple hours of the game numerous times in the video.

Despite this, as well as admitting the game will have at minimal a shitty first month, he doesn't think it'll be DOA; while not thinking first impressions will leave a stigma on the audience, yet still buys these styles of games day 1 anyway despite telling others not to

My god. He looks like a Jew.

He really needs to stick to the old format of videos with his dragon character.

Because he knows where the money is. He knows a Fallout76 video will get a lot of views. Especially with a furry avatar. It means the group he's trying to pander to will watch it. Despite already very publicly abandoning the fandom he has been part of for decades. It's so transparent and frankly a little scummy to walk away from a group you were part of because you hate that group, while also still treating them like your primary client. He's trying to have his cake and eat it too.
