The furry fandom is turning on Kero on Twitter, and it is glorious.

The only people still defending him appear to be teenagers. This is both relieving and concerning, depending on how you look at it.

Nos has had enough of his shit

Of all the zoosadists caught in the leaks, Kero stands out in the sea of literal sociopathic spergs going :3 at puppies being decapitated and nipple shearing in that there was some tiny inkling of regret and guilt once Koda died. While the rest of the zoosadists were trying to get him to move on from losing his dog through artificial sympathy and emoticons, you could see Kero realizing that he fucked up, and that he did a bad thing with consequences. Woof was able to talk about killing dogs without any sort of emotion in his tone, because he probably didn't feel anything. Kero's subtle freakout in their group chat implies that he probably has some sort of conscious informing him that he's a massive piece of shit

But now that there's undeniable proof that Kero fucked his dog, it seems that Kero cares more about his public image than trying to do any good by Koda in remembrance and recognizance

What you see here is exactly what’s wrong with the furry fandom: they don’t lift their heads from their laptops unless it’s to say something vague and stupid about how something atrocious makes furries “look bad”.
You know what makes furries “look bad” even more than a zoosadist ring in the fandom? The mass amounts of people who are completely fine with this as long as it doesn’t disrupt their porn supply.

We need Michael Vick to come and handle these furries. (Too soon?)

Not included in my contributions to this thread: The hundreds of people telling Kero, et al. to fuck off and never return.

Some furries are walking, talking crimes against evolution. And I'm not talking about their fursonas.

(+1 for sending Michael Vick to deal with the morons though.)

As much as I 100% agree the fandom needs to clean up the filth in it, how would they go about doing it?

By actively and repeatedly making it clear that ASA is not to be tolerated under any circumstances.

You’ll see on these Twitter feeds, lots of furries going on about how Zoo#24483 should neck himself or Zoo#95848 should be arrested and put away forever, but what you’ll notice is that these people are never actually invested in any sort of work against the zoophiles.

Half these people who are so vehement in how “we “don’t tolerate” ASA” I’ve never actually seen doing or saying anything outwardly anti-Zoo in any other scenario or situation.
These people will hop on the most recent Zoo scandal, say their peace, Press F to pay respects, and then go back to drawing feral porn for these goobers and claiming it’s “not the real thing” because it lines their pockets.

This is very similar to what you see when there’s an employee caught acting like a goon on camera, and the organization or business has to make some vague post on social media about how they “don’t tolerate that”.

I went off on a little tangent, so here’s the TL;DR:

Be vehemently and obnoxiously anti zoo, be open about it, and help out the so-called “witch hunts” that Average Joe Furry considers to be “just drama”. If you’ve got one side saying “this shines a bad light on the fandom!!!”, be the person who hammers it in that this shit is wrong.

Edited to add: Take for example GrizzlyFatalis. Do you think any zoophiles are going to feel comfortable being openly zoo or supporting zoophilia in areas she frequents? Hell no, because it’s been shown that she and her friends will come after you for that shit. We need more of that in the fandom, make it uncomfortable for zoophiles to be open.
They’re going to form their own private chats and groups and there’s really no way to stop that outside of getting them all arrested, but furries can do their part to make it hell to be openly zoo.

With all of that being said, if you do manage to collect evidence on practicing zoophiles, it should be forwarded to the police as quietly as possible.
Outside of that, be as loud as you want.

The bigger problem is that you can have furs, even BNFs, who are vehemently anti-zoo, and then have people like Ashley Fox in the same area undoing everything that they're trying to accomplish in making the area unfriendly to zoos.

There are furries that are trying to clean up the community, but it turns out that a fandom revolving around cartoon animals and "accept everyone; safe space uwu" is an unsurprisingly convenient safe harbor for people who want to fuck animals (and children, for that matter). Vocality on Twitter is what you see, even if it doesn't go very far because apologists are a thing. The awkwardness of former friends getting shut out of their friend groups at meets and cons is what you don't, and that kind of behavior spreads. It spreads slowly, but it spreads.

In the meantime, there also needs to be meaningful work done to strengthen bestiality laws in the US. People advocate to strengthen animal abuse laws all the time, and neglect this particular aspect of animal abuse.
