This even effects YouTubers, look at how Total Biscuit made millions and blew it all on stupid shit and chasing a cancer cure, though that last one is understandable. You'd think he'd at least have paid off the house, paid for his funeral, and set up a trust for his family in advance, but no. They had to crowd fund the funeral.

ESPN did an entire 30 for 30 special on the epidemic of athletes going broke. There are so many more financial trapdoors that open when wealth is obtained, some of which you don't even think about.
