Yeah, Cr1tikal's channel went downhill as soon as he did the "face reveal" video and tried to branch his content out. Now he just churns out all sorts of unrelated nonsense, most of which isn't funny or as good as his original stuff. I'm all for letting people create whatever they want, and I'm glad he's going his own way, but I can't think of anything he's posted within the past couple years that was funny. Fleshlight Mythbusters comes to mind, but that was trademark striked and taken down.

Make of his current content what you will.

As for Ethan admitting he doesn't want to do main channel content I don't think it's going to happen considering the video that dropped after the H3H3 Ball Rider/BetterHelp debacle. He even went so far as to use the old style camera angle from his older reaction videos. I don't think it was entirely designed to be manipulative or anything, but he's clearly trying to keep people whod drop him over the focus of the podcast by showing he can still make the kinds of videos that H3H3 fans want.

also talking exclusively like you just finished giving 20 blowjobs certainly sounds like hell on the vocal cords.
As someone who sings death metal i can guarenteen u wbat i do is far more grating on the voice than what Joji ever did for FF and i'm fine. Your voice gets very hoarse at first, but in time you grow accustomed to it. What was their upload scheduale like? Daily videos?

Make of him what you will, but he is not a sperg like Ethan. People can make dumb content without acting awfully outside that content.

Now Kaya, Charlie's co-host on The Official Podcast, on the other hand...his antics sure get my noggin jogging...

You had to admit you "sing" death metal just to win an autistic internet argument, why?

H3 falling out of popularity was an inevitability. This sort of thing has been witnessed so many times - the writing was on the wall from the day the Vape Nation video was released. It was really just a matter of how he would handle his own decline, and while there are most certainly people who have handled it far worse than he has, it's unfortunate to see that he isn't handling it gracefully either.

Odd how youtubers like Pewdiepie are thriving by being honorable people who think before they act and maintain their audience despite making massive mistakes

He should use Joe Rogan as a base, just chill with your guests and be a bro to them then ask a few questions.

Ethan treats the podcast as though he's interrogating someone, Jon came on there expecting a fun podcast with one of his friends and ended up feeling awkward and uncomfortable due to Ethans exceptional need to pry for shit.

While that shit might be controversial it's not fun or entertaining to watch, it's just cringy and awkward.

Joe actually challenges his guests without it being cringely bad and obnoxious. He lets them say what they're going to say but he also still gets his point across.

Pretty sure H3h3 getting randomly aggressive with their guests is Ethan trying to emulate Rogan. Can't say I watch much Rogan though since I don't give a shit about MMA.

Cause people are dumb and believe the words of their favorite ecelebs are gospel and cant think for a second they could possibly be engaging in deception.
Literally nobody cares what e-celeb hurt you in your tragic anime background story, stop being a sperg.

At this point, it's impossible for Ethan to go back to the way it was. The podcast business is just too lucrative rather than YouTube videos.

:offtopic:
>Ethan abandoned his beliefs and fanbase to make a mediocre podcast for profit.
>Joji ran away from Filthy Frank wihout any closure whatsoever just to do mumble rap and get piggybacked from his past fame to compensate for his lack of talent
>Idubbbz is out of people to collab with and Content Cop takes too much effort so he just occasionally shitposts in his channel every now and then
What happened to the good old days, folks? I just wanted a few fun channels to watch.:offtopic:
Making new content from the same stuff can lead one to getting tired from making the same thing. Even then, the charm of it can wear off. The best you can get from the good old days is just saving their videos onto your hard drive before it all becomes DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING.

Yeah, autism. :julay:
It doesn't help he would have to put up with autistic fans that think posting Filthy Frank quotes to him without realizing he wouldn't want that tism coming on to other accounts and the like.

You had to admit you "sing" death metal just to win an autistic internet argument, why?
:autism:. How else would one have to powerlevel to win an argument.

I don't watch many youtubes myself but what I always wondered is why him and his wife look so god damn dirty and unclean, they look like they fucking stink of sweat and unwashed hair.

They both dress in nothing but couch potato gear, which I mean whatever, I'm no fashion icon myself. But oh my god, they really do look like they haven't showered in days sometimes, especially Ethan. His hair and beard are a little more under control now but he's still looking so greasy and unkempt. One of those people you can basically smell through the screen, plus he smokes cigarettes, right? Eau de H3. :cringe:

Of all his annoying traits, his appearance is probably the least-offensive, but it just irks me how he acts so smug while embracing the basement-dweller aesthetic, looking gross AF and promoting Hila's hobo-""chic"" clothing line. Might work for skinny teenagers, but these two are too old and chubby (sorry, ~thicc~) to pull it off. They just end up looking like the bums that approach you at the gas station with a sob story about why they just need $5 for bus fare.

Sorry if :late:, this whiteknight comment on that "Update" video caught my eye.

>going through a lot
>give him space
>"Yea I'm sure making him feel like complete shit will make him want to be the creator he once was."

So it's fine for Ethan to surprise-interrogate JonTron as he attempts to make a comeback, humiliating the shit out of him in the process. But when Ethan gets backlash from fans for a blatant money grab + general asshattery, and has to pretend to be sorry for one video...well, now that's going too far! That's just his audience "turning on him" because they're "so toxic"!

I might've just pulled a muscle rolling my eyes.

Ethan's expressed this idea himself, too. When Pewdiepie puts him in his video as an example of a BetterHelp shill Youtube is just too damn toxic and negative all the time and youtubers need to stop being so negative. And yet he does more than his fair share of drama whoring and his channel would be nowhere without him being negative about others.

The instant a faggot uses the word "toxic" they already lost any point they were trying to make.

It's a classic sign of lolcowism -- more than happy to dish it out, but absolutely cannot handle the even the slightest taste of their own medicine. Ethan needs to get "thicc"-er skin or stay in his fucking lane.

the only good thing to come out of the podcast was that it introduced me to erik (internet commentiquette).

used to like h3, felt like they got pretty boring up to the point of the podcast, tried the podcast, just got annoyed by how often he interrupts guests. at this point i definitely agree he should have a cow thread, given how he's previously responded to criticism.

i don't think it's much coincidence that jackfilms hasn't been a guest in a while. in the episode that video showed, jack was pretty clearly trying to not comment/not be involved. shame because he was apart of the only bearable podcast episodes (along with erik).

can't wait to hear his drunken ramble about this video on the next guestless podcast.
