Wonder if he's trying to get into Phil's pants.

That’s George Webb

Phil's mad that the new Hitman gives you choices about how to do missions instead of just giving you an easy linear path
In the pre-stream Phil says he was a fan of Hitman going back to Hitman 2 and a Hitman game was one of his earliest successful playthroughs. Then the game starts and he immediately bitches at it for doing exactly what the Hitman games are famous for doing. It's like clockwork at this point.

Phil once again claiming that an older game was MUCH easier and he had no problems with it, whereas this game is way too much. He does this all the time. He does this to make it seem like he's only started whining recently, and that it's THIS game that's causing it, rather than accepting that he's always been garbage.

He really just wants to rush through the game. Before his break he literally complained about having to really scout through the areas and come up with a plan Doesn't .. that sound great if you like hitman? His enjoyment of games has completely deteriorated into just wanting whatever is easiest to stream and rush through

I've noticed this quite a bit. He seems to think a game shouldn't change anything in terms of mechanics and gameplay. I think he said something similar in a MGS playthrough, he said something like "Why do they keep changing things in every game?". Makes me laugh because most games are kinda watering down a lot of aspects but he seems to have more trouble than ever before.

Well, that's basically how you can summarize Phil as a streamer/Youtuber(/human?): maximum gains for minimum effort. Everything outside of that is reason for him to complain.

I wasnt counting the whole time cause I started to play coop with my buddy, BUT im pretty sure tevin got more money in tips than dsp in tips and cheers before the break.

DSP's gotten $226 in cheers+subs so far. I personally saw another $30 or so in tips. So Tevin would need to be at at least $260 to have a shot at outdoing Phil.

Tevin got a $100 from someone. Just saying.

I don't want to :autism: and count Tevin's money AND DSP's money to see who the better streamer is. I'm willing to bet it's Tevin. Judging by viewership.

I believe it was @Agentsmith (?) that posted a link to those warning signs about cult-like behaviour. I was trying to come up with something on that list Phil hadn't done. For: "The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing 'truth' or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible", I thought: "He's never told his Phollowers not to pursue other 'means' of 'discovery'". But he's done even this. He forbade them from going to "that Detractor site".

I think most of Phil's myopia can be understood if you keep in mind that he can literally do only one thing at a time. He was able to succeed academically because that was all he did. He can only focus on one Youtube channel, he can either play the game or carry on a conversation, and on and on.

His focus on video games came through the lens of fighting games, and now that's what his gameplay will always be: One button press should make the game do the exact same thing every time.

This is particularly noticeable when Phil plays Mario games ("That platform was in a different place before!"). On top of struggling with variable jump heights dependent on the depth of the Button Press and basic Three Dimensions, he's mystified by the simple Global Timer. Elements of the game under the Global Timer's influence will continue to function whether or not they're on the player's screen (ironically, Phil was complaining Wednesday about a game "without a map that populates as you explore". So, everything should already be moving, but it should also be in the same spot when it last appeared on the screen, regardless of when the player gets to it).

I assume a large part of Phil's claim to making "more money" comes from the passive income he gets from Youtube.
