A guilty pleasure I have to admit to having in my young adulthood (even that felt a little late), but I mean come on those books while being literary crack are derivative as fuck and don't really have any unique fiction messaging or concept exploration like Starship Troopers, Old Man's War, Dune, Ender's Game, The Forever War, Foundation..., or even LOTR. I guess what I'm saying is it's a pretty embarrassing series of books, and I'm not surprised a "Sargon" fan would have them on prominent display in his study.

The wheel of time series is the most try hard derivative crap. Its long for the sake of being long

I can't believe a guy that rambles on into a webcam thinks he's the great hope for "western civilization." The guy can't even complete making a video game.
He can't even into optics, how can he save Britain?

Not hard to believe after seeing who he's buddy-buddy with, like a certain high school flunkie turned construction worker that thinks he's some kind of academic due to posting vids on youtube.

Enough people circle jerked their egos for years just for saying obvious shit. its no surprise these people think they are big brained.

It's like any quality works in any genre of books, you will always have copy cats or attempts to clone things. I'd say literally 80 percent of fantasy fiction world building is based off of Tolkien alone, so there is always going to be a lot of pulp fiction amidst the really enjoyable poignant books.

Admittedly it might sound snobbish of me, but I always check peoples books shelves, because you can tell a lot about a person by the books they regularly read, a bookshelf full of dross high fantasy and science fiction and nothing else always makes me wonder about the person.

It was a never ending circle of friends there for a bit, all jumping to get on that bandwagon of bashing SJW's because it fluffed their egos, in what I would say is probably otherwise a very uninteresting life. Half of Sargon's inner circle are Neets or low end wage cucks. If they're so smart IRL then why is that the case?

I enjoyed sargons content when he was just a dude with a British accent calling feminist stupid cunts. When he started getting serious and that he's a big brained intellectual is when I stopped watching.

It seems that a general problem with most of the skeptic community is most of them try to make content that's pushing more weight than they can accurately handle. Like sargons embarrassing failure at understanding basic philosophical and political concepts, or armoured skeptic completely not understanding what post modernism is. I understand the desire to be and appear intellectual, but it seems most of them don't make any actual effort to educate themselves about a subject.

Although sargons case is a bit unique in where he will do research but somehow completely misinterpret what it's actually saying and will say it means what he wants it to mean.

I wouldn't say he does research. I'd say he starts to do research and gives up when the article or book gets boring

Real question here, Why doesn't Carl finish College? Or tries again in "history" or "philosophy" degrees? He has the money and probably the time. He'd learn a lot for real and gain a degree of respect. I know being a "Mark Zuckerberg" has been all the rage in entrepreneurial circles, but if he's going for the long haul as an "Intellectual" I don't see why can't he get a degree, at least a shitty nightschool Uni would be better than nothing.

How would that help him in any way?
