And no matter how vicious the abuse depicted is, most of those degenerates will convince themselves the kid enjoyed it. I am very fascinated, in a horrified sort of way the level of delusion these...individuals display in regards to what they've done.

I read an article years ago about how the pedo communities create and reinforce an alternate reality where kids are just dying to get raped by adults. One guy was shocked to be told that most kids don't want to have sex with adults, or at all until they're older, even if it were legal. On SA, a long time ago, we had a pedo apologist come in to a thread and try to argue that kids want to have sex with adults and should have that "right". I asked him how he'd react if it were legal, and he asked a kid, and they said no. His response was something to the effect of "oh, kids don't know what they want so I'd do it anyway and they'd see how good it was." Like you said, terrifying.

One good thing to come out of the Metoo movement is that alot of people are speaking up about being abused. To the point that I am really really depressed the amount of people I ve know for decades and they come out about what was done to them.

Some are pretty fucked in the head while others I would never have known. One new thing that threw me for a loop is that amount of child on child abuse. or what ever you call it when both parties are underaged.

But yes the delusion is really disturbing, you dont have children marching in the street demanding to fuck adults, they couch all this shit in terms of some kinda special love but again what happens when the kid becomes an adult. The other poster talking about what they do is just horrifying.
