Lately, it's been more like one stream every other week while promising more vids that he doesn't deliver. I don't believe he "owes" anyone (except maybe his patrons) those videos, but it is sad to see him doing this because it's probably a prelude to him ducking out entirely again.

Wouldn't say maybe his patrons because he does own them what they paid for, his patreon is for videos and not streaming, also said he would have a video schedule back when he started it. If he wants to move over to mostly live streaming he should update his patreon to say as much.

A whole stream dedicated to the Ball Cult would be fucking amazing. Just those few minutes from last week's stream were gold. Same goes for him looking up that Hampture thing (the "project" pioneered by a single man who inexplicably wants to make it possible for hamsters to live underwater). I really wish Jim would go back to discussing weird people and weird shit on the internet. I still enjoy the skeptic streams, but those people are really smug and boring. I want something spicier.

Jim pretty much always been a flake when it comes to content so I doubt he'll duck anytime soon, certainly not with the gravy train he has right now.

It's getting pretty hard to defend Jim when he didnt do the Vee art stream, didn't put out the Barb vid he alluded to, has made no mention as to when either of those are coming out, and doesn't appear to be doing a Sunday funday today.

But he's got tweets upon tweets about Drumph Sargon and the skeptics.

I don't think he's spoony bad, yet. But I'm getting frustrated by how lazy he is, and if it isn't laziness then he needs to be more transparent about what he has going on in his life because its probably much more than he lets on.
Anyone that saw how much of a bum someone like YMS is will know that transparency is essential when you aren't keeping to your video schedule. I would suggest his patrons start to press him on that more, knowing Jim he'd probably be willing to disclose it, he openly acknowledges how bad he is at keeping to a schedule and that he is lazy so I doubt he has much to hide.

To be honest I'm curious about his illness, if he has to go in for something like chemo (doubtful) or dialysis then that would explain alot.
But I'm not saying anyone has a right to know about the specifics of it, so its up to him.
And really, I'd like to know how he's spending his time outside of twitter shitposting, vidya, and youtube. So thats what I mean by transparency, because I think its either he puts way too much time into videos or vidya (doubtful on the former) or has other IRL stuff he has to attend to.

Well he has a history of getting videos near finished and deleting them because he didn't like the end product. He must have like 10 vids at some point of completion so hopefully he starts putting them up.

I think Sargon should sell the Star-hat merch like he said he would. Metokur has already said he doesn't care if people make their own or even make money of his content.

This has been stated numerous times but it's worth reiterating: this thread was not created as a lolcow thread. It used to be in the Multimedia subforum and was meant to be a place to discuss Jim's videos. It only very recently got moved into a lolcow subforum. Even now it's still more of a discussion thread than a "lol Jim is a cow" thread. That's hardly surprising considering that, once again, that's the kind of thread it's been this entire time.

This is pretty much why I think Jim is not a lolcow. Like you said, he's actually a really likable guy. He's someone I think would be really fun to hang out with irl. When I hear "lolcow" I usually picture someone with a terrible personality who I probably couldn't stand to be around for longer than 10 minutes.
