Oh, no question he deserved what he got, and if he'd crippled a 'Nazi' safe bet he wouldn't be feeling bad about it. Permanent injuries just strike a bad chord with me, especially brain damage. Even a violent imbecile losing an eye or winding up a half-vegetable makes me feel badly for them.

So far as I know he's not that retarded, it's not like he's on machines forever, he's just markedly dumber than he was previously. He could probably be elected to office somewhere with his limited capacity.

To add a little perspective, if a police officer attempted to strike someone in the head with their collapsible baton like the rebel without a clue, it would legally be considered a use of deadly force, no different than if he shot him. Getting knocked into full-waterhead mode is getting off easy by that definition.

Tries too hard to sound badass. Check.

Looks stupid instead of scary. Check.

Shallow attempt at understanding memes and forcing shitty ones into the spotlight as a piss poor attempt to weaponize them. Check.

An at best neutral or benign concept perverted into something they think is awesome but looks childish in practice. Check.

Emblematic of people trying to sound tough who are not nearly as tough as they want to make people think they are. CHECK.

We saw with the Trump balloon and the Law and Order GamerGate episode that the best way to make them look like a laughing stock is to do nothing, because any kind of attempt to mock them pales in comparison to the utter cringe they unironically produce themselves.

I can't predict what it would be. Maybe someone will turn up to an antifa rally dressed as the mascot and set himself on fire with his own molotov, or some kind of "it's okay to be white" style poster campaign intended to scare nazis that ends up on international news with the usual alphabet news channels having straight faced discussions about some bright orange honey monster knock off. Whatever it would be, it would blow up in their faces.
