Why would $70 not be enough for him to buy food for the rest of the month? It's only a week away.
How does Jake even have any long term relationships left for people to terminate, let alone "so many"? He's been claiming that more long time friends have severed contact with him every couple of weeks for the last couple of years now.

I don't know but my recollection is that the formula for determining food stamps entitlement used household income rather than individual income as well as housing costs. If Jake is getting food stamps, there's a good chance his mum's income is low.

This didn't upload in the last post. He gained 3 patrons and 60ish dollars but he offers no method other than Patreon to give him "emergency" money so there's no guarantee that extra money will be ongoing.
