I like Null's streams but Null isn't on the same level as Jim when it comes to making content. There is no substitute for a good Jim video.

Something about Metokur's delivery is very hard to imitate successfully. Oddly enough on the last Killstream there was a caller (go figure) that was actually very successful at pulling off the same style of delivery as Jim. So I guess it's not impossible. To that end, Null should keep doing what he's doing because he has his own charm and will continue to grow and develop. He seems smart enough to attempt to make his own thing, rather than try to ape others' material.

Realistically, most of Jim's charm comes from:
1) being an ultimate oldfag (at least re: image board culture)
2) dripping pure sarcasm at every turn
3) Dat voice, brought to you by Camel cigarettes

Point 2 is much easier to imitate long-term, and the difficulty in imitating point 1 is what prevents true competition.

Also, I don't mind Null, but he kind of sounds like a crying Jew.

The other times he's been temp banned from social media, he's used it to take a break since he knows he gets a bit addicted to shitposting there.

I don't think he ever intended to use either of the names he put in that Twitter poll. That being said, Ralph has said that the guys behind stream.me will give Jim whatever name he wants. I have no doubt they will give him MisterMetokur if he wants it. Someone is squatting on that one too. Potentially piss off one squatter to bring in 10,000+ new users? Kind of a no brainer.

So my guess is that people don't see the need to support him on patreon when they can send a superchat that'll get them their daddy Jim's attention for a few seconds. And he just financially doesn't need that patreon welfare aymore
