Jerry's only managed to get anywhere because people will think that your opinion, regardless of how ill-informed it is, is more correct because it was put into a video essay. Not a knock against video essays in general, more about the way people react to video essays.

Would you have gotten as far as you did in World of Warcraft if you didn't learn the mechanics, if you didn't grind, if you didn't do lines of quests to get the items, money, etc that you needed to become high-leveled? The stupid thing is that if you know what you're doing, that 3 hours of homework to do at home should reduce to almost nothing. You SHOULD have study halls and whatnot throughout the year, plus doing work at lunch is a thing.

Oh, and guess what: you still have plenty of free time on the weekends and holidays, too!

Most people I know were able to finish their high school homework during lunch together in a group or during class since the assignments in class were usually just a lecture, presentation of sorts, or assignments due at the end of the week.

Unless you just did jack shit in school it was very difficult to stockpile on homework meaning it's very likely Jerry is just a lazy piece of shit.

I remember liking some of Jerry’s videos while back. I didn’t even know he had gone trans before reading this and wow. I don’t doubt at all Jerry has some genuine personality and mental health problems. He would probably benefit some serious counseling, medication and therapy. This is probably why he is so against trans people need to be diagnosed by professional. Nobody with any real training in mental health and gender dysphoria would let him transition. They would at least make him deal other problems first but there is no way Jerry will do that.

Jerry has anger issues, control issues and is generally acting up consistently. He seems to obsessed with the idea of violence solving all of his problems and is extremely against the idea of letting grudges go. He hates his family, has burned bridges with multiple friends and is limiting all but the most self serving communication from his fans. This person is going to be left bitter and alone. Probably already would have if he hadn’t had the great idea to go fashionable trans.

Sorry to powerlevel a little bit, but....I don't recall spending much time at all on homework outside of school, even when I had 4 AP classes. My brain is fucking infested with ADHD, I had a LOT of sick days due to medical issues, and I still kept up with everyone else without feeling like it was impacting my free time. Did they stop having study hall in school or something?

I think the problem is that Jerry’s always been entitled, and thinks that he’s special.

You can even see it in that “don’t do homework!” post, he thinks that he’s so special and unique that it was never his fault that the lessons never stuck during 40 minute lectures, it was never his fault that he got suspended for lashing back when his teachers told him to cut the bullshit, it was never his fault he refused to do the homework. It’s nakedly obvious throughout that whole post that he’s absolving himself of all responsibility for how he did in school. It’s saddening.

Remember kids, if you don’t do well in school, you’ll end up like Jerry.

Because, I gotta be honest, I watched the new She-Ra and as far as represenation and whatever goes, the show is doing a good job.
  • The cast has all the skin colours of the rainbow in it
  • There's a confirmed lesbian couple
  • A confirmed gay couple who are also the parents of one of the main characters
  • A good number of same-sex couples sprinkled through the background
  • A big, buff butch woman who can put on an evening dress with no one batting an eye (which according to a lesbian friend of mine is apparently a pretty big deal)
  • Even some animal people to give the furries something to enjoy.
And pretty much all of that is treated as completely ordinary in-universe and is never discussed throughout the entire first season.
The show is about as inclusive and representative as you can make a Children's Cartoon and manages to tell a fairly enjoyable story about magical Princesses fighting Evil without sacrificing any runtime to blatantly preach at the audience.

On a side note, how the fuck can Lily even afford to go on vacation?

Is it ever enough? Like I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say the crux of the GoW video is gonna be 10 minutes of complaining that those shows while diverse aren't openly diverse about it so they can still keep an audience with people who get their crank in a twist about the homosexual agenda or some shit. I'm not gonna say the story is anything groundbreaking but for what it is, it does a good job and I feel invested in the characters. I just hate we're gonna have to watch it become the focus of shitty discourse like this video for the next year like every other cartoon

There's nothing exceptionally great or revolutionary about the plot or the writing, but it's decent.
Good enough that parents can watch it with their children, without wanting to smash the screen in.

In my experience? No, it is never enough for these kind of people. You cannot please a crowd that has it's entire basis in complaining about content creators not pandering enough to them.

I recon your stab in the dark is gonna be entirely correct.
None of the main characters had their orientation confirmed yet either way, so the two openly gay couples obviously aren't gonna count because they're only side characters.

I would guess either adoption, or one of them is a step parent. With the general tone of the show it's probably not gonna involve any unholy male pregnancies.
They haven't made an appearance in the first season, but it was apparently confirmed at the New York Comic Con during a panel that the character Bow would have two dads.
