Chris was still able to get into mainstream highschool and community college, plus get things like a drivers license and Doctor approved HRT. I don't think any of that would've been possible if he had the big red "rétarded" stamp on his file.

The problem is they're not universal, so if one doctot diagnosed him, another doctor would know nothing unless they obtain medical records. My question is, how flipping low are the standards of gatekeeping these days, he's clearly retarded.

They seem to be so low as to practically be non-existent. By any objective measure, Chris has deteriorated rapidly since his evaluation and certainly in the last couple of years - but nobody official gives a shit. He just gets his tugboat; buys toys; shits himself; begs; spergs about dimensions; and that seems to be A-OK nowadays.

The problem is unless the civil powers see all the stuff Chris does, and he manages to look semi coherent at his meetings, nothing will be done. For all we know, his mother is even some how conning people she's functional enough to help care for him.

I also still don't think Chris is on real HRT. That shit requires a pysch eval. I remember some where, some one mentioned the possibility he badgered a walk in clinic for some stuff his mother would take for menopause. But I digress; if a doctor approved him for actual HRT, they are fucking liable for all the health risks included, and who ever approved his pysch eval needs their licenses revoked. The reason why HRT leads to early death isn't because the body decides to up and go fuck itself, it's because the person who undergoes the treatment doesn't find fulfillment in the extremely painful and incomplete transition.

Think of it like a hermit crab moving to a new shell, when a hermit crab grows too large it needs a new shell, likewise it'll find a shell that is fitting for this. If the hermit crab moves into a shell that isn't suited for it, it'll die pretty quickly.

Transexuals die because they come to realize this despair once they have made transition, and its a fact specifically withheld from them by doctors, counselors and the like; "Changing you are on the outside won't change or bring fulfillment to who you are on the inside, changing it drastically will only cause it extreme discomfort." In all reality, it's a win win for everyone, Transexuals remove their sickness from the genetic pool, then subsequently kill themselves in realization, thus fixing society; and the healthcare system moves along nicely without being slandered for "Unprogressive thinking" while making top dollar from the mentally ill.

There are quicker routes to suicide, but none really have that social benefit of "Removing the sickness from the genetic pool" that transexuality has.

Not anymore, we've got informed consent nowadays. Basically if you say the right things to a therapist for a few months, they'll write you a recommendation for HRT and send you to an endocrinologist. Chris was referred to one at UVA. They gave him a script and made him sign away liability (the "informed consent" part).

I knew about informed consent awhile ago, but I thought it was just some west coast debauchery. But unfortunately, it has reached the east coast, and a lot faster than I thought it would. For example, another lolcow, ContraPoints, lives in Baltimore, and he managed to scam some titty skittles from a shrink by blabbering the right keywords in like 3 months. FYI, the clinic he went to also offers pediatric trans care, including puberty blockers.

The medical system has thrown its hands up and said "fuck it, do whatever you want, we don't give a fuck anymore".
