Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

It's worse that not only they are willing to make a 10-12 year old trans, but want a DEAD 12 year old trans.
They have no self awareness.

To keep it simple, at least, he's a trap at best. He took his looks from his late mother.
I can't believe people are arguing over a trans character/a translation error.

1. Relatively, there wasn't a problem with it the trap character the past. Once found out, most fans would laugh and move on.
2. This happened earlier with Kate Holt/Pidge in Voltron where once the fanbase found out that Pidge was a girl, the fanbase went nuts complaining why she wasn't trans despite showing evidence contradicting that.
3. In this insane SJW mindset of these idiots complaining of "No dead gays", they would hang their hat on the concept of a dead [not] transexual child.

There is no evidence showing that Lily/Masao is trans. It's just a bittersweet story of a kid with good intentions being overworked, and later lost in the Lily role he and his father developed and fear of growing up. Basically one big Peter Pan analogy. i.e the Go Go Neverland SAGA episode title

In a comedic sense, I'd still call Lily she for two reasons
1. Contextually, the world and Japan in Zombieland Saga only knows of the Legendary Hoshikawa Lily, not Go Masao
2. It's easy. We are episode 8 of a 13 episode comedy anime. It's hard to care about semantics at this point.

Yeah that reminds me, it's exasperating that literally any instance of gays dying/having an unhappy ending therefore = systemic homophobia, tragic lesbian ending trope, blah blah blah. It's more or less just another arbitrary reason to get mad on the internet.

Don’t get why so many people pee themselves over that.
For every tragic gay love story, there’s like a hundred straight ones that end up even worse.

Reminded myself of Ryuunosuke from Urusei Yatsura, thank goodness nobody wants 'him' to go trans.

This is really annoying to me because sometimes these people completely ignore context. Like is the movie about the gay character talking about how their death was wrong and how it was a complete tragedy due to the homophobia and horrible intentions of others? That's good.(not the death obviously) Because it's exploring the process of what lead to these people's deaths and that the discrimination they dealt with is wrong. If the gay character dies "just cause" that's perfectly understandable. But fully realized characters going through an arc within a relationship is good to show how the characters can be victims of circumstances. Like, a gay person in the 1940s is not going to have any more of a happy ending compared to an interracial couple during that time.

This reminds me of the Danganronpa fandom throwing a fit when they found out Chihiro was a guy. Instead of understanding that Japanese society is more focused on conformity and that the whole point of that story arc was to show that Chihiro had guts and was willing to be expressive of their identity while the person who killed them was a coward....tumblr ignored that and called them trans. Even though cross-dressing is pretty common in Japanese culture and has been a part of it for years now. Even when people call Chihiro trans and get called out on it, you're "transphobic".

I don't know what's worst. That Tumblr completely disregarded a cross-dresser's murder for their own identity politics or the fact that the Zombie Idol is already dead and they're trying to make them trans somehow.

I have no words.

Whatever the truth is with Lily, I don't particularly care. Still gonna use "she" because frankly it's easier. (Though I tend to give anything involving trans children the side-eye because most cases of trans children are actually cases of abuse)

I'm just mad that a bunch of SJWs, especially the kind who typically despise anime, have flooded into a fandom that was fairly free of them until now.

I wonder if that is going to be the future with most fandoms having SJWs in some from at least until it starts to wear down years later.
