Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

The men "hitting on her" were sex workers doubling as laborers at the all inclusive resort she was staying at. She thought the room service guy that brought her a burger at midnight really wanted her "candy juicy thighs" and wasn't just a male prostitute.

The all inclusive resort culture in Jamaica is...liberated.
Honestly, Anna looks like the kind of women that go to Jamaica to cavort with gigolos. Broad Midwestern face, fat, middle aged (looking), soccer mom lady who just wants to "party" and "have fun." I am surprised they weren't more aggressive.

But it's not because she is fat! Lymphedema is genetic, guys! She's have legs like sequoia trunks even if she weighed 110 lbs. (She has said this in the past.)

Unlike AL, she is happy to show off her legs.

Yes, and Danielle's the one who's posted a couple "What I Eat in a Day" videos to show that she doesn't eat differently than thin or average people. The videos feature her shoveling in at least 3000 calories of fried junk (poutine with half a bottle of ketchup on top!), tons of cheese, and pure sugar (a venti Starbucks frappe with extra caramel syrup!), so you know she's probably eating much worse all the other days she's not heavily curating her diet for Youtube. Many of the comments on those videos, as you can imagine, were brutal, but a lot of people actually tried to offer reasonable suggestions, advice, and commiseration that Danielle did not want to read.

Danielle seems nice and innocuous enough, but she's one of the most delusional, self-destructive members of the FA/HAES crowd, especially every time she claims that obesity does not worsen lymphedema.

In another blast from the past topic, remember that spa for fat girls? At first I was surprised to see the star rating when multiple recent reviews were really bad then I noticed how many people were giving it 5 stars despite never being there and just "wishing they could one day". I'm curious what the rating would actually be if we took out the fake ones
Highlights of the real reviews include:
  • Unprofessional
  • Empty looking spa that's dirty
  • Ignore or forget any appointments made well in advance (including a bride)
  • Fat girl goes to Asian salon next door for cheaper and was happy with that service (oh wow, it's almost like most salons aren't that bad)
  • Have the token black girl but don't give her clients with black hair needs (apparently the others are clueless at braids)
Overall it doesn't seem like it's really all that lux despite the BuzzFeed ad they had. I'm not surprised seeing how empty the salon was in that ad, there were like 5 chairs in such a big room, not exactly the best looking place.

I've never seen anyone give 5 star reviews to places they've never even been to, wtf. It's so fucking gimmicky in the first place: An all fat-girl salon where any BBW can come in and feel just as beautiful!

Okay, they can feel just as beautiful in regular salons. It's not like they'd turn them away.
Because those women are the type to not fit in regular salon chairs and also get triggered by people that are smaller than them because "thin privilege".

It was created because the owner broke a salon chair once. She's actually that massive. According to the advertisement on BuzzFeed they felt like salons weren't built for them (those chairs are normally massive) and want to go to a salon with a buffet. High end salons tend to offer refreshments anyways but whatever, also I wouldn't trust the sanitary conditions in that place.
Also I get the idea of these reviews, these people are encouraging what they think is a really positive establishment but you can't make reviews to do that, make a damn post on their page saying you're happy the place exists, share it on your Facebook to actually potentially get them customers, send them a message that you appreciate what they're doing. Anything but this would be so less shady and it's actually really shady that this salon won't delete and discourage fake reviews. I understand why, but it's still wrong for a place acting "woke"

"Instagram took it down after I had finally 'embraced it'" waah body shaming. You can't post pictures of your meat curtain on social media, call it a "little fat roll" and expect to get away with it. I'm sure Instagram isn't nearly as concerned with their users feelings as they are with keeping porn off their site.
