In 2005 Romanias currency was among the least valued in the world, to the point the govt replaced the currency at a rate of 10000 to 1. And of course this was long, long before Romania began adopting the Euro.

Pretty sure loli porn is illegal where he lives as it is in much of the world anyway.
There is actually the fact that a Fursuit is is allegedly $1k and up which is a lot more than monthly tiny payments.
There is also the fact that Vee has admitted he would wear a fursuit at one point if given the chance, which makes it a lot more likely he would have weird fetish accounts and a weird 2nd life account (but I repeat myself)

Let's also not forget that free and open proxy servers used to and possibly still are a thing. And that using a muck would imply a certain level of technical sophistication which would make it not so surprising that a muck user would at least be able to follow instructions on IP masking

Because he is lying about both or came from some wealth that got him through or into the school but couldn't cut it when the tests came up? The only other explanation is just being really really fucking weird, which I guess is a possibility. Overall, I think he is lying or significantly stretching the truth (JD/MD isn't totally unheard of in the states though). Just like Carl and being black or knowing how to code

I might be off, but I think that VPNs back then weren't that popular among normies? I wouldn't be surprised if at that point Vee wasn't even aware that such things exist.

I would be surprised if someone who was able to successfully locate and connect to a muck was unaware of these or similar things, given what I remember about muds

To add to my previous post, y'all should watch Down the Rabbit Hole's episode on furries. It is shown just how tech-savvy furries are compared to normies. Even when the internet wasn't huge,furries were finding ways to make group chats/forums.

I wouldn't put it past most furries knowing how to get a vpn, even when vpns weren't known by all.
