The deeper the rabbit hole goes with these sick fucks, the more and more I start wondering on what mental gymnastics do these sick fucks do with their claims that they "love animals"
The most common are:
- animals can consent or revoke consent at will (wrong)
a.) even if they cannot verbally consent, then ~body language~ is enough (wronnnggg)
- all animals are sexual beings the same way humans are (wrong, even if very few other species partake in "pleasure" sex, i.e. dolphins, doesn't make it permissible to fuck one)
a.) since the animal will respond physically to genital stimulation, then the animal obviously likes it !!!!11!!!1111
b.) because an animal at sexual maturity would be fucking other animals anyways, it's okay for them to fuck it too
c.) interspecies sexual contact happens in nature (what they fail to account for here is that it is often the product of stress or abnormal circumstances)
- fucking animals has no negative physical or psychological effects on the animal (covered extensively in ZSMT and Spink's thread that this is, indeed, wrong)
- animals are sapient and cognizant in the same way humans are (they misuse the word "sentient" in making this point, and also, wrong)
a.) denying this "fact" is "speciesism" and is a byproduct of humans placing animals lower on the ladder
- depriving animals of sex is detrimental to their health and abusive (um. wrong?)
- humans eat/hunt/work animals, so fucking them is okay (at this point I don't think I need to make notes that all this stuff is wrong, it's pretty obvious)
a.) eating/hunting/working is far more exploitative than fucking them, gaiz
b.) being crazy PETA offshoots makes them real animal welfare activists, so they're justified in fucking animals because they "do good" for them
- because ancient Greeks/Celts/Japanese/whatever did it too
- they have a "special bond" with the animal being molested that ~~~~~only they~~~~~~ can ever comprehend, have a dog/horse whisperer delusion
- sex is natural and the rest of the world are zoophobic puritans, just like the people who hate gays
A funny take related to a couple of these is "how do you know they DON'T want it?". By that logic... how do you know they DO? With an ounce of critical thinking and a basic moral compass, all of these justifications fall apart like wet newspaper.
