Nich has been very mouthy when it comes to Dave lately. Wonder what's up, usually he does some logical thinking but then cowers and fucks off or drops a few bits on stream to earn forgiveness. Looks like Dave may have legit lost another genuine fan with his bullshit. Only took a few years and needing over $20k to make him think twice, but you know, better late than never.

Completely agreed. Just look at one of us. Tevin looked for a house Dave couldn't afford. Tevin signed the contract for him. Then Tevin moved all his belongings to the new house. Tevin whispered in Dave's ear he should not bother with the old condo. Tevin bought him all the statues and figurines. Then Tevin edited all his footage so it looks like Dave is a bad video gamer, insults people and developers and kills jews in space as the last nazi.
On top of that Tevin ate Leanna's sandwich in the hospital. He also missorganized his office and created an unchanging schedule. Tevin forced him to lie every single day, with a gun to his head. Tevin was the perpetrator of his car accident which damaged his back. And of course, oh how could we forget, Tevin gave him gout.

None of it matters to him as long as he gets what he wants. It's really fucked how he views relationships. Kat has her own job with her own money that she spends on herself, you know like in a normal relationship. She doesn't have any obligation to "share" her finances with Phil and he can't handle a woman with that sort of independence. His relationship with Leanna rapidly deteriorated after she got a job outside of his sphere of control and was no longer completely dependent on Phil for everything (money, companionship, housing, etc.). His desperate marriage proposal was a last ditch effort to keep her around so she could continue not only to cook and clean for him, but more importantly to chip in to the Save the House fund. The flaw in that plan being Phil is such a worthless piece of shit that he can't keep a woman around when he doesn't have some sort of leverage on her. We see a mostly similar situation going on with Kat in that he wants to find a way to make her give up the money, and if all he has to do is put a cheap ass ring on her finger and have a cheap ass wedding with no friends or family to invite, then yeah he'll do that. I suspect she's not down for that, otherwise it would have already happened if they truly are soulmates (they're not). The difference being that unlike in Leanna's case, Kat probably doesn't have anywhere to go should she leave Phil so he does have leverage this time around. He might be able to guilt trip her into marriage if she sticks around long enough. I do think they would get a divorce within a few years and Phil would be fundraising to Pay the Alimony. A bonus for the detractors would be all the JUST edits of Phil that would get made.

It's possible that the 16k is purely (or partially) so Phil can keep spoiling Kat. She goes where the money is.

Looks like Phil got a talking-to about "fund raising" or "raising funds" again. He was asked yesterday about his $16k fundraiser and took great pains to "clarify" that it totally wasn't a fundraiser. Then there's this from his schedule image yesterday:

I'm of the opposite mindset. Remember when Tevin did his surprise video on talking to Kat's ex?? He confirmed that Kat was a gold digging horsey wayyyy before she met Phil. She could probably leave TODAY with the revenue she's built up over the time that she's lived with him cause I'm damn sure she hasn't been paying a fucking dime to live in that house, up until Phil asked her to help out with the 16k he owes. She's compliant in all of his actions as well and even encourages his frivolous consumption of empty belongings, by wanting a cat and buying him hot topic t-shirts all the time. She's is a parasite. She'll stay as long as she wants to. Probably even after they get "married" to get that Alimony, like you said.
No sane person dates DarksydePhil, unironically. She absolutely has a long term game plan.

As far as I can tell, Dave still works for Unger Enterprises. He started there in 2014 so "being retired for years" is incorrect.

I wish someone had been keeping track of all the times he's mentioned that 'this is when all mah bills are clearing!' and the corresponding time of the month, because I HAVE to believe there is absolutely no consistency and, if you tracked these instances, they would span the entire month.
This is such an easy go-to move for him to use to cry 'financial stress', and as automatic in nature as his 'nothing I could do!' or 'it dropped my input!' excuses in fighting games. No one, to my knowledge, has really tracked it like people have with his earnings, so it's an easy lie for him to tell and he says it at seemingly every point in the month.
And who the hells bills 'clear' over the course of literal weeks anyway? You can call just about ANY creditor, utility, etc that you have a monthly obligation to and easily schedule a new due date that works more in line with when you get paid. If he gets paid by Twitch around the 15th and has overdrawn his account a few months on a row, why in the fuck wouldn't he take the two seconds it would requite to make a few phone calls and reschedule when he makes his payments??
How could ANYBODY even consider giving this fat slug money to bail him out when he wont even make the minimal effort to help himself by doing things like this that would save him completely unnecessary and wasteful overdraft fees?? This has always been one of the more triggering things that he does for me...

You know, this is something that hasn't really been mentioned. Given that he knows she got with him while she was with another guy, shouldn't the LAST thing he think about doing right now, given his financial situation, be getting married to some flighty golddigger who could up and leave him the next day with half of his shit?? Because, if she HAS helped contribute to the houses finances, it wouldn't be too hard to find someone sympathetic to rule in favor of giving her half if she can make the argument that she was contributing money to keep things afloat while hubby sat on the couch and played video games all day.
Might want to think this one through, Phillip. You know this whole 'soulmate' thing is just you taking the piss. Do you REALLY want to go the extra step of getting married just to stick it to your detractors further that you have a real life woman when she could walk out any day with half your shit?
