Wait Sargon is still active?

I'd have thought he'd been laughed off the net by this point.

He has to prove to Kev and Kristi that he's still a valuable UKIP member who totally hasn't been shunned and muzzled for being an Internet moron

There is a subspecies of humanity that hasn't been exterminatus'd in the 40k lore who are cat people, the Felinids. Games Workshop tries to pretend they never did this but don't care enough to have a Tyranid splinter fleet eat them like when GW axed the Squat space dwarves.
I’d argue they’re more of a thing GW didn’t get around to touching up yet, given the spur of old material returning lately.
Beastmen, a tolerated(barely) and enrolled in the Imperial Guard as a penal legion force type of mutated human are canon, judging off that goat guy from Necromunda’s relaunch. Felinids are effectively Beastmen too, just cat ones so people like them.
Be happy GW didn’t yet touch them, or else we’d get this as the canon felinids, probably.

How did Daddy Niggy displease Carl?

And how many of his Internet father figures have betrayed him now???

I think Carl doesn't like the idea of Farage basically publicly stating that UKIP letting in e-celebs to try to pander to a wider audience is not only hurting the party but humiliating it, to the point that he's making a bid to be the leader of UKIP to "fix" it.

I think Dankula and Carl being let in were bad enough but Farage could stand it, letting Tommy Robinson in was where he drew the line. I'm pretty sure that if Farage were to even notice Carl's remarks he'd probably chew his ass out too.

And he's right to want to fix the Robinson situation. A fringe party doesn't widen their base by drafting someone as a prominent "special advisor" who evokes fear and loathing from oh, half the country or so.

Shockingly, of the three, Dank is the least politically poisonous new recruit.

This is the party Carl is hitching his political wagon to. I hope they do run him somewhere

Which is made funnier when you consider how hard he tries to pry himself loose from the alt-right moniker to the point that he didn't do shit when Robinson was arrested for his courthouse stunt until Jim badgered him about how hypocritical it was. Now he wants to pretend Farage is a cuck for being pragmatic.

Shockingly, of the three, Dank is the least politically poisonous new recruit.

I think that's why Farage waited until the Robinson thing, which iirc he's pretty much openly said that would in fact be where he drew the line. Dankula is a sympathetic guy who's either never said such impeccably stupid shit as Carl has or it's so difficult to find that nobody's bothered yet. Whereas Carl (pre-getting shit on by the media after he tried to call Jim a pedo) hadn't had most of the worst shit he's said come to light but was still a controversial figure. Robinson is just unacceptable for a party that's trying to run as centrist nationalists.

I hope they throw his ass out of the party with a statement from Farage personally disavowing him, saying it was a mistake to let him in in the first place. I think Carl would have a legitimate mental breakdown if that happened.

A little gentle criticism from Jim will make Carl do the stupidest things, probably even still

Compare and contrast Carl's chat with Amos Yee with Dank's. Endless nuggets of retarded gold from Carl, and Dank just replies with variations on "I don't care if you have studies or evidence. Children can't consent, it's wrong, and it harms them"

I think either outcome would cause Carl to lose what little sanity he has left. There's no way his election campaign wouldn't turn into a muckraking contest between all of his opponents

As stupid as it is to let even Dank, a guy who regularly jokes about fucking traps and other stuff that would put off the public into their party, he makes the most sense out of them. Even today it's hard to find ordinary people that weren't sympathetic to the guy, because the idea of making a Nazi joke and going to jail for it is outrageous. He's fringe, but at least on a purely free speech angle, I can seem him actually being of use to the party.

I don't keep up with Tommy Robinson so I don't know if he's in the party or not, but letting Carl in was such a monumentally stupid idea that will give their political opponents free reign to tar and feather them for years to come, even if he's removed from the party.

Did he seriously just pull a "you can't fire me, I quit!"?

More like a "ok, I gave you a chance to quit fucking up. I wash my hands of this"

He denounced the new direction publicly. Bringing in Robinson truly was the party's death knell. On top of having a special advisor on hating Muslims, they now have to fight "Even Nigel Farage wants nothing to do with you idiots anymore" every time they speak to the media

I’m of two minds about Farage disliking Robinson. The first is that Tommy is image-wise rotten, fairly or not. The other is Tommy encompasses all the issues UKIP would campaign on and they’re just cowering to political correctness.

I don't know. You can't realistically campaign on "fuck, do I hate Islam. Now what are we gonna do about it?"

which they're probably going to try doing, and Carl is gonna get painted with the bigot brush again

  • Agree
Reactions: GranDuke
The need to include Muslims will produce nothing of value though. And I doubt Robinson intrinsically hates Muslims.

Be that as it may, it's not a path to winning elections

I don't think Tommy is nearly as extreme as he's portrayed, but it's really easy to get him to drop a juicy soundbite and thumb his nose at the law. with public perception of him, the time to try rehabilitating his image is certainly not on the campaign trail while fighting for your political life
