While it's true saying you will kill yourself over tumblr banning porn is plain :autism:, the issue is that staff is so absurdly incompenent *everything* is gettingg flagged as nsfw. Sfw art, real life pictures, pictures of men showing off their chests, because "female presenting nipples" is complete bullshit and their algorythm can't differentiate between male and female nipples, and most interestingly, posts criticising the ban and showing off verizon chart of activity on the site. Some people will of course chimp out, since it is tumblr, but the issue itself is quite legitimate and stupid.

I have a kind of goofy blog on Tumblr that has never posted anything nude, lewd, or rude, and I've had several posts and reblogs flagged.

One of them was a photo of a version of the book Treasure Island that had a pixelated Minecraft-looking cover. I am assuming it was flagged because of pixelation?? Another was a picture of a tan-colored clay nativity scene that zooms progressively farther into the face of one of the super derpy animals, and I guess that the farthest zoom-in looked like naked flesh.

But you know, I would gladly give up all of the posts that got flagged, no matter how innocent and humorous, if it means I didn't have to see Stapphy's flabby grandmother tits - or the flabby, flappy paper bag tits of the various "enbies" and "transmen" and "agenders" who have decided that the best way to protest a website's TOS is to post topless photos.

I hope that every prospective employer finds those photos
