Dark (he hates this apparently) went into another stream, shit on the commentators and the game, timed out / banned two people, ADMITTED to trolling chat (he wasn't, he just shit himself when they pulled him up) then fucked off. They removed his mod status straight after (no idea why he had it there). Twitch is fine with this though, it's all paaahsative doood.

"You are not people."
Amazing 8)

Can we discuss how shit this line up is for Thursdays marathon? It's nothing against the games themselves it is just games he should have played years ago, games he already made people pay for him to play, and games not worth starting because he won't get anywhere in the time he dedicates to each game.

Axiom Verge-Decent Metroid tribute. He'll be hand held the whole time which will make it boring.
I Wanna Be the Guy-Welcome to 2010. Plus it is a memorization/skill game neither of which Phil likes.
Minecraft-Think this one check all the boxes. Already paid, too late on hype, won't get anywhere.
Stardew Valley- See Minecraft
Sonic Dreams- Way past the hype. Expect the clown make up on for this one.
Ruiner(maybe)-Don't know anything about this one.

This is one of my favorite things about Phil, him being so out of date on gaming/streaming trends while still insisting he's a hardcore gamer. I'm looking forward to the begathon 2 years from now where he celebrates the interactive greenscreen he added to his stream setup by playing fortnite. It's even better when he ends up playing a game he used to shit on when it was first a fad.

Like you said, the biggest problem is really the fact that you're not getting anything out of the majority of these games if you're just playing them for a short while. With the exception of the meme Sonic game, I'm assuming people paid/voted for these games because they wanted to see Phil actually play them. Well, I Wanna Be the Guy might have just been a game they threw in to see Phil get salty, but still. Minecraft especially is going to be a huge bore because it's a game without any real direction, and Phil isn't creative enough to find a way to make it entertaining, especially not with it just wedged into some marathon.

It means Dark has a drinking problem.

In other lonely old man news, Dark was up late at night by himself watching TV (again) and suddenly realized he could save some money every month by changing his plan since he only watches WWE. No shit. The best part is that of course he couldn't be bothered to do any of this research and decide what's best for him by himself. Literally every moment of his life he has to have his hand held.

Hey Phil, there are plenty of websites that let you watch gay porn for free. No need to spend $50 on a subscription to get your fill of oiled up naked men pounding each other.

I can see a colab here!

Yeah i hate all these Redemption Runs. They are totally worthless. He doesn't improve on the original, actually most of the time he manages to play them worse than before.
Instead of playing interesting, new stuff.

Still waiting on that Metroid Prime 2 LP, man. Now that is a game that will break Phil apart.

It's pretty funny how a lot of them he did before stream chat and now he gets handheld through the game and still does worse at them. Stream chat as always ruins everything.

If he doesn't make $16k more than usual, I expect actual tears come the new year. I want to see this soy boy on his knees with tears in his eyes and begging for help. Otherwise, and I don't want to be controversial here, but I'm going to have to assume he's been lying to us.
Don't hold your breath. One, scroll back through this forum and witness all the calamities Phil has survived; many call it his “cockroach luck.” Two, of course Phil is lying — he’s a professional grifter, and any tears you see will be merely for show.

My advice is not to get too invested in this drama. If Phil magically gets his $16,000 and saves the house, he and his paypigs will crow but our Truman Show will continue (except here Truman is repugnant, has no friends, and prefers to stay in his 1600 square ft cage rather than escape). Can you imagine watching this shitshow when Phil is 50 and having fundraisers for his Roth IRA? Don’t get me wrong; it will be good drama if he loses the house, but it’s good either way.

:dumb: here, but is this a separate instance of him shitting on a MVC:I stream or the same one from a few days back?

Are you as hyped as I am for his IWBTG (again) stream where his jump button won't work (again) which will make up the entire difficulty spike in the first level he will be stuck at? It's just the third time or so.
Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. Exciting.

Last time it was part of his rage-a-thon where he raged like any emotionless depressed grandpa.

Yeah, his "redemption" runs are entirely pointless. At first he wanted to show everyone without handholding and help (and no excuses) that he can handle these games alone so it's really HIS playthrough. Then he proceeds to let his hand hold for every step he takes and even "suddenly" finds some super secrets and makes up the excuse "Well I don't know these games in and out so of course I need help, ack ack ack". Except you don't have to know every aspect of a game or the consequences of every little step to redeem your skills and gameplay.

Claims to have NO disposable income; but will admit to his pay pigs that he spends $600 a year on TV shows

I think he may actually have mental issues... No one is this blatantly & openly stupid (are they?)

The longer the show goes on the more I'm inclined to think along these lines. I don't think I've ever seen anyone contradict themselves as frequently in such a short span of time as he does. He can do it in a single breath without any hint of a double take on his own part. It's extremely weird. If he has some "secret" mental illness he surely thinks people would use it against him insofar as making jokes about it and perhaps that's what holds the reveal back. I mean yeah people would make jokes about it and accuse him of inventing it for pity much like playing the depression card but he really can't sink much lower as it is. The latest MvC mod incident proves no matter where he goes or what he tries to do.. he'll either act like a prick and then get chewed out or the other way around. He can't even skulk in the background of a stream that has nothing to do with him without drawing fire. So if he's a certified mong he should just show us the plaque next to his bizness degree and youtube creator award already.

So I looked at the files and it says I downloaded them Nov 2nd, so at least that far back there were people noticing the crazy number of guests on the forums.

Pretty much every forum has bots that come in to try and collect whatever information they can scrape (and potentially post up links if there's not some basic form of CAPTCHA on the sign up). I don't think there's anything unusual about the # of "guests".

I don't know about anyone here but I can't wait. I'm looking forward to him trying his hardest to avoid calling it what it is. Most people, when told you can't do a fundraiser for yourself (probably the 1st on Twitch to have to be told this) would drop it. Instead he's trying to be sneaky about it. I just hope someone will keep track of them and how much they make. He can not put a tally up but he can't really hide the actual amount from people paying attention.

You know I'll be tracking it. That said, I'm not planning on posting anything publicly about it--no need to help Phil out. That said, he's claiming he'll be keeping a tally going, so anyone should be able to drop in and see how he's doing/how he did.

He's got to have been lying to everyone at this point. Nothing he's doing adds up to his reactions toward taxes, bills, etc.

You don't just let your tax debts get this big by now and don't have the gov just start yank it straight from your wages. Im pretty sure overdrafts 2 months in a row have declines showing, or the bank being like, wtf are you doing?

You def don't take time off when your this much in debt willingly. Not to mention his income is slowly draining away. Just look at Patreon. I know people have been keeping track and his streams aren't really making near as much as he used too. I haven't seen many huge bit cheers or tips larger than 20 bucks, not to mention his top tips/cheers of the stream haven't been that much by the end of the stream.

Its going to be the same thing as always as he somehow magically is alright with no proof to show of it.

I just hope it's something of a good shit show till the next saga begins.

Remember to keep in mind his sheer laziness. He's been able to coast along so far without any major repercussions, and he's counting on that happening again. I've no doubt he's not as bad off as he seems, but going from asking for $2-4k to asking outright for $16k is quite a jump without some kind of driving factor. For one thing, it blows a massive hole in Phil's ego-driven Ralph Wiggum-esque "I'm a BUS-DES-MAN" narrative.

One kinda interesting thing here--without seeing what Youtube and Patreon did last December and January, Phil got ~$4k and ~$1800 above his average Twitch take. I know his Patreon blew up in December as well to like $1200, but that was peanuts compared to what he got on Twitch. So with a more credible story (at the time, to his fans), he got less than half of what he's asking for now.

Research on pathological liars:

"Low self-esteem is a commonly found feature in pathological liars. The lie maybe an attempt to feel good about themselves, generally for a short period of time, similar to the effect of drugs & alcohol.

The same lie or deceit repeated over and over may create a myth of personal well-being or success or displacement of faults of own failures on others, thus creating an imaginary fantasy protection bubble, which may reinforce self-esteem
[eg pro fighting game player; one of the best overall gamers in the country; 10 year content creator LEGACY).

Pathological liars repeatedly use deceit as an ego defense mechanism, which is primarily caused by the lack of ability to cope with everyday problems in more mature ways.

Causes of development of pathological lying can be, but are not limited to, one or more of the factors mentioned below:
  • A dysfunctional family (tick - admitted he disliked his parents and told them he'd do whatever he wanted in late high school years)
  • Sexual or physical abuse in childhood;
  • Neuropsychological abnormalities; such as borderline mental retardation, learning disabilities etc (tick - any puzzle in a video game or other challenge, taxes)
  • Impulse control disorders; such as kleptomania, pathological gambling, compulsive shopping (unknown - though he seems to like to spend quite a bit)
  • Accommodating or suggestible personality traits;
  • Personality disorders such as Sociopathic, Narcissistic, Borderline, Histrionic and more (tick)
  • Substance abuse or substance abuse in family (tick - gin)

This is the actual video thumb nail...

I mean sure; he is going for the pity look; but this is border line desperation

And he wants tips from YouTube too it seems...
No shame!

Edit: announcing his 4 'special live' events... Which will be in an 'effort to raise funds'
(note: NOT a fund raiser thou. Haha pathetic)

Edit 2: that video was maybe the most pathetic cash grab he's ever done. Spruiking these 4 random 'marathon' streams while saying repeatedly he needs help to save his (second) house.

So hypocritical of him to say he's always got past challenges, BUT to get past this one he needs ppl to give him $16k

Also said he needs to "hold out" for 2 years as some loans will be sorted them or some thing.
