I honestly don't think it's that bad on the cartoon side of /co/. Comics, sure. They're justified in it whenever another exceptional artist comes out with a very thinly veiled take on the Orange Man (tm), but it can as easily spill over to legitimate takes on non-male/non-white superheroes (or just comic book characters). I have no idea what goes on at /v/ and /tv/ is shitposting central anyway, so I don't take anything there seriously. But as far as other boards not called /pol/ go, I wouldn't say it's as popular anymore to be so aggressively right-wing. I'll always remember that one anon who said how he believes the great majority of people on 4chan understand and support /pol/-like rhetoric, or at least parts of it, but because it's spammed so much on every single board on the site (maybe not even by /pol/ itself; I'm certain a lot of it is just lazy, but effective bait fishing for (You)s), the backlash is also severe and of great annoyance. People have gotten tired of the constant negativety and just want to watch their animes/cartoons/movies/shows and play vidya without going too deep into an irrelevant part of its plotline that may or may not be a reference to Trump.
