So, you mean the Podesta lobbying firm, then. The lobbying firm for Podesta. The lobbying firm specifically founded and run by the Podestas. Podesta's lobbying firm. That lobbying firm?

Okay, you guys can let me have it with both barrels, but honestly, the less I have to watch this slow motion motorcycle wreck the better. Bad enough I have to hear from or about him all day long, can't we just have a "riding out the Apocalypse" forum who's only rule is Notrump? (No supporters OR detractors) They'll all still be there tomorrow for our daily dose of rage and vicarious shame. I'd just like to he able to run somewhere where I don't hear all about how we need to cancel free elections because it's the only way to stop Trump from destroying democracy. Just one night? Please?

If it were contained to like 1 or 2 thread that would be great, but I think most of us here are mature enough to not go autistic over it. We're here to laugh at people regardless of their political leanings.

Look man, just chill no one here likes Obama either.

Thanks, broh. I needed that. I'm working off an acute case of shellshock from hanging out at Reddiot. (I know, I know, personal responsibility and all that.) It was all so terrible. I seen things man... Horrible things! Vile, hateful things. But. I'm cool, I'm together, I got my shit wired tight, forever cool...

Agreed. My favorite sort of polisped to laugh at is the kind of person who comes into the threads for discussing a certain topic, and bemoaning how prevalent discussion of that topic is. After coming to the thread for discussing that topic they said they don't want to discuss or hear anymore discussion of. The complete lack of self reflection of that sort is spectacular, and is only ruined by the fact they're usually just low effort trolls. And if they aren't its not worth trying to tell the difference.

Well, my second favorite. My true all-time favorite will always be @Mrs Paul busting in with their latest previously debunked outraged hottake of course :feels:.

Remember when H.W Bush killed tens of thousands of people to reinstall a brutally autocratic monarchy in some desert because of abortion.

Let's not forget Ambassador April Gillespie's statement to Saddam before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, when he was complaining about them slant-drilling under the border into Iraqi oilfields.
[W]e have no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts, like your border disagreement with Kuwait.

To be fair to Hussein, that does sound like he was told the US didn't really give a shit one way or another and was trying to staying neutral at worst.

On the other hand, that is a blitheringly idiotic thing to say about a potential causus belli.

Thanks, broh. I needed that. I'm, I'm,... just so scarred by reddot, man. I seen some things! Horrible things. I'm cool, I'm together, I got my shit wired tight, forever cool...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Dangerhairs afire off the shoulder of Patriarchy. I watched Soy-boys glitter in the dark near the Antifa Hate. All those moments will be lost in time, like Troons in rain. Time to win. Man, we're going to win so much, you're going to be sick and tired of winning.

That's how the leftists push their viewpoint. They push their loyal institutions as infallible, pure, and worthy of trust without thought. Because it's all about suppressing individual thought and all about subsuming yourself to the collective, led by and guided by these institutions. Hell it's one of the reasons they're turning on Ocasio-Cortez so hard... she may be a far left collectivist, but she's not melding into their established collective.
Absolutely. It's why you hear left-wingers say shit like, "X county actually has the best healthcare in the world." and when you press them they cite something one organization like the WHO wrote about, and they view earnestly that that's reality's official organization for determining all health standards and these rankings would be uncontested objective fact, when the metrics used can be hotly debated over what should be prioritized when looking at a healthcare system. They'll call you sheep all the while parroting the exact same rhetoric you've heard over and over again.

And they don't realize that Cuba has been ranked a few rungs lower than the USA when they spent a decade telling us Cuba's healthcare was marvelous and how great it would be if only we too were communist. Since Oman currently ranks higher I'm sure everyone would prefer to get their healthcare there.

One would think you wouldn't trust a rock band with only two remaining members to give you health advice, but then again what do I know

Best use of Kuzco's poison in a discussion thread. I giggled like a lunatic. :)

Expect the MSM to cover this with a pillow till it stops moving, though (to misquote Iowahawk).

I'm reminded of a period of time when Canada kept getting ranked as a better place to live than the US while Canadians were twenty times more likely to move to the US.

Not that Canada's some sort of unlivable hellhole, but the idea you could even pretend to rank one half of the continent against the other, as though either was a homogeneous polity, is still dumbfounding to me.

Cuba has an excellent healthcare system compared to other Caribbean countries but its mostly only available to people in the cities and party officials.

When Micheal Moore took people to Cuba for care he was basically creating propaganda.

They train a shit tonne of doctors but don't have the facilities to use them so they basically whore these people out to tourists and foreign countries.

Canada is ranked as consistently more free than the USA despite widespread hatespeech laws.

Better to just ignore global think tanks.

I'd say that the Canadian healthcare is fine though. The USA should probably employ some sort of baseline universal public system to cut out the degenerate private insurers and make it so that most cancer patients don't go bankrupt within 2 years. Doctor visits are preventative care and should be free. They save you money and lives in the long term.

Quadrophenia is so good I'd let Pete molest my kids, if I had any.

We should all also get a free pony and a ticket to disneyland.

We could easily afford it if we stop giving free healthcare and benefits to illegal aliens.

For example;
The weeping and gnashing over the suffering and pain (of illegals getting dialysis in our dime) is such a powerful play for pathos that you almost forget that these 6,500 illegal aliens put themselves in these situations, and that they are burning 285k a year in taxpayer money. Each.

We're burning 285,000 dollars a year on each of the 6,500 illegal invaders undergoing dialysis. Deporting them would save us 1,852,500,000 a year in taxpayer money.

Taking medicine from citizens to nourish invaders is an act of treason.
