Modern Marvel has literally hired straight off Tumblr and Fanfiction.net and NO there does not seem to be any "intense process" that does not involve stating your political bona fides and proving you are one of the tribe and you know someone.

Nostalgia for 90's style comics. Big boobs, big guns, hyper kinetic super scratchy detail, gore, humor, and half the characters were Blood this or Death that. Not the part that ushered in the new #1 trend every month, the speculators expecting to retire off of a few copies of The Death of Superman, and the deluge of varied quality rip offs of knock offs flooding the shelves.

As is my understanding, it's an evolution of the 'malin militia' to become a counter/compliment to the War campaign. The Wolfmilk is a reference to the wolf that nursed the first Spartans. All furry shit is incidental,
