Some of you are theorizing that Quill is supposed to be Marl, but I'd bet anything that he's an Opa stand-in, and this comic is about her relationship with Opa. Glip always used to get people on her inner circle by doing what she's doing in the comic- breaking them down with her "strong feelings" and making them feel like they needed her to "save" them from themselves.

If you have to explain everything out of the webcomic for it to make sense, you have shitty webcomic writing. This is what people've been saying from day 1 and they still do this. Yes Opa, normal friends yell at others and flail around violently to make them feel better and open up about emotions they surpressed, because people yelled at them over doing that.
Wait a minute, no they don't.

All I know, is if my friend and/or boss at work yelled at me in the same manner Papaya yelled at Quill, I'd see it as time to move to another job and get new friends, not thank them for making me feel miserable about myself.
