I think this is one of those moments where he felt more comfortable letting everyone else speak and didn't want to mess up saying the Apostles' Creed. I mean, you can make all the excuses and justifications that you want, but Catholicism, particularly where Trump has spent the majority of his life (NYC!), is not rare or esoteric. And Melania would be familiar with and take no issue with the Creed if she's Catholic, no, lol? But she didn't say it, either. I'm just curious as to why they didn't, but we will never know and quite honestly it's none of my business. It should be respectful enough to bow one's head like he did, but of course the media is going to shit on him no matter what he does, just like they're doing now for not saying it.

Overall Obama's smug, self-satisfied smirk during the whole service was far worse.

Liberals are so stupid, they're still in Bush mode thinking that Trump is some sort of evangelical-type, somehow, nevermind the fact that Evangelicals were mad at bush and ended up feeling used; Trump is as about as far from religious as we've had a president in living memory, and he's no doubt paid for how many abortions.

Or they think he's "far right."

The reality is Trump, the man and not the administration, is a moderate with hardline populist views on immigration and trade. And he could give a damn about religion. I wouldn't say he's an atheist, that's too much philosophical thought for Trump, but he sure doesn't care about it.

This time around, Republicans and Trump voters know 100% that Trump isn't a reverent man or a good role model, and the man has said as much. There are no illusions surrounding it. Trump is a billionaire playboy, and people voted for him despite that.

There's a lot of personalities that made themselves look more intelligent than they really are by arguing with religious nutjobs all day back when they were relevant. Most of them have completely failed to adapt as their enemies are sligthly more intelligent and much more technologically adept now.

I dusted off Facebook today for old times. I wish I hadn’t.

I used to just open it up to see how mad everybody is and laugh at it but....I’d rather believe it’s just me that’s gotten more sensitive, but is everybody else on that platform just out of their minds irrational?

The one group I used to get schadenfraude from, the other 98%, are unrecognizable today. Is this unhinged, or is it just me?

The Other 98%, Occupy Democrats, and the "God" page all used to just be fairly average liberal stuff. There was a time I followed all three and some more.

Those three in particular have gone absolutely batshit though. Just completely utterly insane.

That's why we're here! If this thread (and T_D on Reddit to an extent, though it's a little dicey sometimes) didn't exist, I would be completely lost at sea. Nothing is about reality on Facebook or Twitter; it's all just visceral hatred for a man over absolutely ridiculous shit like enforcing immigration policies (many enacted under Bill Clinton and reaffirmed by Obama ffs) and giving tax breaks to entrepreneurs.

I've yet to see anything Trump has done that warrants 1/10000th of this hysteria.

Speaking of Occupy Democrats, that page was formed during the days of the Occupy Movement to call out the corruption and cronyism within the Democratic party which was being ignored by most liberals who were too busy reeeeeing at Wall Street and conservatives to pay attention to what was going on in their own base. Sort of meant as an Occupy Movement from inside the party, hence the name.

Can confirm that the church here recite the apostles creed but as far as i know is only reserved for mass and when you are going to pray the rosary for the deceased maybe there are other cases but I'm not big into religion

Going to ask in my town WhatsApp group the local priest is there
