I'm still having issues with understanding this tipping thinking Phil got. If a user tips you $5 instead of using bits or whatever he will get $5 less at the end of the month so he will need that user to tip again next month for the same reason.

Doesn't cashing out PayPal funds immediately after receiving them incur fees? He's probably talking about that because he just can't wait a while to get his pennies

Sometimes I can't believe DSP isn't an act. Shits on Nintendo no matter what they do, they can't do nothing right, completely shits all over smash, Nintendo drops their partenered program and anyone can make money on their videos again. "OH SMASH IS AWESOME NINTENDO DID A GREAT JOB WELL DONE GUYS PAT ON THE BACK FOR THEM! I'M LOVING THIS"

How is any fan meant to take what he says as the ahnest truth after that?

Last time I had to withdraw PayPal dollars to my actual bank account, it had 2 options: Wait a couple of days and have no fee, or have it done same day but have fees. He should just get a PayPal debit card and use that as needed.

People are getting banned left and right for talking about 1v1s in Smash because DSP said he doesn't want to do 1v1s.

"One second, everybody! Oooff! *long pause* My doorbell rang, I have absolutely no idea why. I don't recall having any packages or anything being delivered today. But, maybe Kat had something coming? I have no idea.
...
*back on mic* "Well, it was a package! It was a package for Kat, something that Kat had ordered. I'm glad that I checked! I don't want to leave it out there all night, have it be all freezing or whatever. *Fake Laugh*"
So, in a household where monthly bills overdraft the checking account and there isn't enough money to pay the Taxes at the end of the year which could result in being forced to sell said house* items are being purchased and delivered to the house? "I don't recall having any packages or anything being delivered today. " Meaning D$P has items he expects to be delivered another day? Additionally, D$P's gated community needs to hire a new security guard seeing as folks appear to be able to come and go with being required to ring the residents for entry.

* The IRS does not force people to sell their homes for not paying their taxes right away. Homeless people find it difficult to pay said owed taxes and the IRS wants their money. They will 1st arrange an affordable payment plan. If, the payment plan is not adhered to, they will garnish the person's wages. D$P's 'wages' are the payments YT and Twitch send him and I'm not sure the IRS can garnish a PayPal account. This said, seeing as our boy has TWO homes, they might have him liquidate one of the two in order to settle his tax bill. Since the ConnDough lacks equity, the WaKhando would be the one most likely to be set on the chopping block. D$P could, however, avoid this by agreeing to a payment plan...which any sane person would do first before even considering selling a piece of property. Now the IRS takes getting the money owed to them VERY SERIOUSLY which D$P will find out should he try to scam them.

Personally, I think it is his fans who are being scammed as D$P doesn't act like someone at risk of losing their desired home. Sure, during his hardcore begging segments he seems concerned. The rest of the time he shows little to no urgency in drumming up 'the support he so desperately requires': no tip goal, just a total given on ONE stream. Sub goal for another 'event' not his taxes. Buying decorations, a toy dog and holiday themed alcohol. Continuing to take a day off 'work' and 'working' half days. Going out to eat once a week on his off day, sometimes multiple times that day and possibly on half days. Buying two copies of Triple A titles instead of sharing a single copy. Switching to a different paid entertainment streaming service not eliminating ALL fee required entertainment. Buying multiple new triple A releases and playing them all at the same time even though Day One views are no longer a viable business in this era of publishers handing out games early to 'influencers'.....I could go on and on....

Clip of (someone with the same name as) Thirdeyethehird asking another streamer how DSP can handle his snorting while he's streaming:

Again: there's no hard evidence that this account actually belongs to this person. I mean, the first pic is a simple notepad screenshot anyone could've made, and a donation name could be faked just as easily. Still interesting, if not only for the part where *don't reference another streamer* *don't reference another streamer* *don't reference another streamer* ANOTHER STREAMER takes about 2 seconds to come up with the same advice DSP has been given for years by both supporters and detrahctors.

Excellent deduction skills here - his wording around the package delivery is quite incriminating - I agree.

And 100% agree he doesn't come across as a person really in fear of losing his house; and he is not at all focused on savings.

I mean, after the 'financial challenge' reveal, he could always have said various ways he had been cutting expenses... He didn't.

I know some people post that D$P isn't the stupid fool that his actions suggest...that he is quite calculated and not as dumb as he seems (ie when he does bone-head things in games).

I suggest that D$P isn't stupid, BUT he is not as smart as he thinks. He is smart enough to be able to spin plausible stories that elicit sympathy; but he is too dumb to keep these stories together.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Phil is not a smart man, but he only needs to be smarter than his paypigs. Congrats on bilking these rubes out of their bits, Phil, but at what cost to your physical, social, and mental wellbeing? Jim Jones was the alpha dog in Jonestown but he drank the kool-aid too.

According to this, Paypal charges no fees to transfer to a linked bank account by the next business day. Even the instant transfer, though, says it's 1%, up to a max of $10. So that wouldn't be 1/3rd either. The only way his math works is on $1 tips, as $0.30 gets taken off each tip.

I’ve been in tevin’s stream and “thirdeyethethird” would tip something and chat explodes for a bit to the point where people and Tevin would have to say “that’s not the guy”. Happens every time. I doubt that’s “the guy”.

Might be very OT, so accept my humble apologies in advance:

Carl Benjamin aka Sargon of Akkad has been banned from Patreon for allegedly racial slurs and/or hatespeech. The incident occured not on the Patreon platform, but in a YT video that's ten months old, and not on one of his channels, but on one of his political adversaries. You may think what you want of CB, but this incident is a clear violation of Patreons own TOS, which "only" does not allow above given negatives on its platform. The "Trust & Safety Team" of Patreon though feels that such behaviour in general (means: as evident on other platforms than Patreon) is enough to revoke a person of their Patreon account.

Now, what has this to do with Phil Burnell. Well, given the fact, that our little pigroach has used racial and/or homophobic slurs to da max in his own videos in the past (and still likes to dance on the rope hanging above the abyss of racial/homophobic comments) and these videos are still around on the internet, he should better watch out not to get on the bad side of Patreon - meager as his income via Patreon might be atm, it would still be around $ 6.000 per year he could kiss his ass goodbye. You read this Phil? Don't be a nasty boy, ok?
