Did the weeaboo stories Tumblr come up in this thread? This reminds me of that. I remember it devolved into a bunch of weebs circlejerking over increasingly embellished STDH to feel better about themselves.

The one funniest part about this is the bottom left picture of the second image, the lady on the right that's holding the rabbit eared weeb looks dead inside. The only thing matching this up is the bottom left and right in the first image.

I thought this was an actual maid café opening up somewhere in the States, but it was just something for an adults-only con, like a one-off thing or something. Doesn't sound permanent, but as long as the girls have been treated well and they're truly having fun with it, then I'm not bothered by it.
But really, there's been actual maid/cosplay cafés that have opened sporadically in the States, but they all filed for bankruptcy within a few years. Because, surprise surprise, Americans aren't that big into that.
