I don't think it's that simple. DSP only needed like 10 subs to hit the goal. This is more likely the same thing Tut pulled.

It's too soon to make wild guesses yet.

Ooh, nice catch. So the name was changed just before the account started mass-gifting the subs. Interesting.

Something else that stood out: emerald_seven gifted one sub manually. Or it at least looked like that, but I might be wrong. The receiving account is named "Mangocactusea".

Two bot accounts with a high number of followed users. And both have a picture in their profile that's tied to a tinyurl link. The first one leads to some Russian porn site, the second one seems dead (leads to the main page of Google).

Weird stuff.

its so funny. yet another rando who never followed dsp,never did anything,only existed on twitch for a bit,donating large amount of money/subs. did phil learned anything about last time?nope. he looks so happy about it like it never happened before

I think they suspect it's him giving himself subs. My guess would be they have automated tools that flag inactive accounts suddenly doing large transactions, and they show up to check the streamer and see what they are saying in the moment.

@PenisMuncher23 Nobody thinks you can charge back gifted subs, come up with a new theory.

In fairness, why would he be unhappy? He got the money last time. He'll get the money this time, and the next five times some troll decides to try and pull this. My views on DSP trolling attempts have changed a bit after posting here but I think most people would agree that pushing hard for a sub goal in hopes of it generating lulz is foolhardy at best when it comes to Dave, nevermind the fact that he hasn't announced what they'll be yet.
 
So someone used bots in the beginning of the year to boost his views, then use bots to make his forum appear active and now bots spamming him with new subs... 2018 is the year of the bot for Phil!

Would suprise me if the bot views Tevin got was from the same guy or guys!

Dude, nobody is using bots on his forums to make it look busy. You would have them POSTING if you wanted to do that.

You REALLY need to let the forum thing go.

Just pointed out that someone connected with Phil some way have been using bots a lot this year!
And you still haven't come up with a good idea as to how a forum that tended to have 20-30 people visiting at the most, suddently constantly have 5 times as many and all are guests!

You're repeating baseless speculation as fact. We have no evidence of botting on Dark's stream OR in the forums, so don't quote it like it's a known fact.

Myself and @actually have both given you perfectly legitimate explanations.

Don't spread speculation as fact; that's the same as propaganda.
